Bulgarian-born French singer, from family that defected from communist Bulgaria to France when she was 10 years old. Older brother was record company executive at RCA in Paris. Sylvie Vartan in the early 1960s--- www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtzDG_awuQIHer imposter (one of her imposters) in 1969--- www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAPxSPFruUw&feature=relatedA figure in Sylvie's trademark blue sleeveless dress walks across the back cover of the Beatles' 1969 Abbey Road. Her head, lower legs and hands are cropped out of the photograph. Sylvie went on tour with The Beatles in 1964. Look carefully and you can see "The Scream" on the back cover.

I was looking at one of the videos of hers that you linked as well as another one, the date I didn't see, but it was B/W and my guess was about 65/66 and there was a striking difference to me. The real Sylvie had what I call "hooded eyelids", a small fold of skin over the eyelid that gives the "tired look". Fylvie #1 was shown without having that "hood". They looked more deep set. Now make up can give the illusion to shading and such, but one can still see a hooded eyelid with makeup to appear less hooded and one who has a deep set eye. Subtle, and that Fylvie has a longer and thinner face. Sylvie has a more rounded and small/petite face.
I know that some have suspected that Sylvie was replaced about 1965 and that affected Paul's music taking a darker turn and more sobering sound. I don't know if this was actually due to the loss of Sylvie, but it was a turning point in the musicality of the Beatles.
I'm suspecting that a first Fylvie was there 65/66 and then by the 1969, a taller and much thinner Fylvie took her place, being Fylvie #2.
Some have even talked about a Polyvartan, being a drag queen playing the part of Sylvie.
Just things I've observed on other forums. For those who may have not been to the Paul is dead, or paul was replaced forums, this is a new thing.

Paul McCartney's face is w/in that picture. I think it's saying they were together forever at that point...

Thank you for the observation about JPM in Sylvie Vartan on the cover. His profile can be seen in her arm and elbow. Do you happen to knpw the photograph from which the photo of JPM is taken? I would like to track this down. There were some rottenapple youtubes that emphasized this hidden picture. I also wonder if secretly, JPM and Sylvie may have been related. A Crowley child connection? They looked like possible siblings or cousins. Stranger things have happened, as we can plainly see ....

Hi beatlies - I've seen the photo of JPM that was supposedly used on a video on Youtube, but I don't have a copy of it or anything.
I never thought about a familial relationship. I just figured they were in love. It's possible & would be interesting to check out...

The following is a restored post by user "beatlies" from Dec 10, 2008 : ---------------------- More REAL Sylvie Vartan: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQpZ8-vEvKcIn late 1965 or early 1966 Sylvie disappeared and was replaced by Fylvie1 (probably Marisa Sannia, the young Sardinia-Italian singer in disguise) ....... The Abbey Road cover mirrors the previous year's Polanski movie Rosemary's Baby, with the white Volkswagen beatle and the Black Moria van. In RB the first girl destined to carry Satan's baby commits suicide by jumping out of the Dakota apartment, and we see a police scene and the blood-splattered beetle. The girl's name is "Terry." The back cover of Abbey Road has Sylvie Vartan in her blue sleeveless dress walking without her head. Does this all point to a clue of Sylvie being ritually murdered?

Faul Vanilla Sky video features opening aerial zoom in on the Dakota, same as in the opening shot of Rosemary's Baby. Vanilla Sky the movie (2001) also features the Dakota, and in a lifetime-flashback shot at the ending. It stars Fom Fruise and Fameron Fiaz: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0W4tl6bMJo&feature=related CD Jackson, both a top CIA director and executive of the media TIME-LIFE corporate empire, lived in the Dakota while Fohn and Yoko lived there, and maybe when RB was being filmed there; I'll have to look it up. There is a major TIME-LIFE reference in an RB scene. The Faul VS song is basically a melodic rip-off of a previous Faul song "Biker like an Icon"....

Young Paul and Sylvie strike me as Brother and Sister. The truth on that may be less intense, or super complicated, but nevertheless...
