"Arizona Secretary of State Wants to See Obama's Birth Certificate
Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett wants you to know that he is not a birther , but he says he wants proof of Barack Obama's citizenship before putting his name on the Arizona ballot.
In a radio interview today, Bennett said he is just doing his job of making sure "that those people whose names are on the ballot have met the qualifications for the office they are seeking." He says he has been trying for eight weeks to get documents from Hawaii.
In a statement just released, Bennett says:
"First, I have been on the record since 2009 that I believe the President was born in Hawaii. I am not a birther. At the request of a constituent, I asked the state of Hawaii for a Verification in lieu of certified copy. We're merely asking them to officially confirm they have the President's birth certificate in their possession and are awaiting their response."
Matt Roberts, Bennett spokesman said in an email that Bennett had not asked for Romney's Michigan birth certificate because. "This was simply in response to some constituents asking us to ask Hawaii," he said.
The deadline to file for the ballott is Sept. 10 th."

"Obama 'Born in Kenya' Booklet Raises Questions
COMMENTARY | A 1991 information booklet printed by Barack Obama's then literary agent that states that he "--was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii" has surfaced, according to Big Government. This has lit a torch under the birther movement.
To reiterate before we go further, the booklet in no way "proves" the theory that President Obama was born in Kenya, is therefore not a natural born citizen, and therefore not legally president. He was born in Hawaii, therefore a natural born citizen, therefore the constitutionally elected president.
But then the question arises, why suggest that the young Barack Obama, then an aspiring author, was born in Kenya when he was not? Hot Air suggests that the motivation was to embellish Obama's biography to make him more interesting. One of Obama's former agents claims that the listing was the result of a fact-checking error and that the biographical data was not provided by Obama himself. Big Government maintains that this error persisted at least until 2007, when Obama was a United States senator and candidate for president of the United States.
Obama is not the first public figure to have had his biography goosed up, even though at the time the object was to sell a book that he was working on at the time and not get him elected to public office. The fact that the embellishment has surfaced to bite the president over 20 years later is an example of what happens when one cannot keep lies straight.
If Obama did not provide his biographical information to his then literary agent, then who did? Why was the false information not corrected for 16 years, by which time the impression that Obama was born overseas would be an impediment to his being elected president?
Who is Barack Obama, anyway? That is not a frivolous question. One gets the impression that the public persona of the president is a carefully constructed façade designed to enhance his reputation rather that to enlighten people about the man who has been president for over three years.
The publication of two new biographies, "The Amateur" by Edward Klein and the upcoming "Barack Obama: The Story" by David Maraniss suggests that the vetting of the president, which should have happened four years ago, is still ongoing. That it's taking place now should be the cause of soul searching by the media."

"Obama birth certificate OK by Arizona official
PHOENIX (AP) — Arizona's secretary of state said Wednesday that Hawaii's official verification of President Barack Obama's birth records meets necessary requirements, meaning the president's name will appear on Arizona's ballot in the fall.
The inquiry launched recently by Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett gave official weight to a long-simmering political controversy generated by those who say that Obama was not born in the U.S. and therefore is ineligible to hold the nation's highest office.
The Obama administration attempted a year ago to dismiss the conflict by releasing his long-form birth certificate showing that he was born in Hawaii.
But skeptics maintained their stance and eventually Bennett announced he would seek further verification at the request of numerous voters who contacted his office, even saying he was prepared to leave Obama's name off the state's ballot in November.
Bennett, a Republican, said in a written statement that Hawaii officials "have complied with the request, and I consider the matter closed."
Bennett's office says Obama's name will appear on Arizona's November ballot as long as he wins his party's nomination and all paperwork is properly completed.
Obama campaign spokesman Mahen Gunaratna noted that Bennett also is Arizona campaign co-chair for Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney. Gunaratna said Bennett's inquiry will have no bearing on the election, "But it does present an opportunity for Mitt Romney to finally rise to the occasion and denounce the extreme voices in his party."
The Romney campaign responded saying the candidate has made his stance on the issue clear.
"I think the citizenship test has been passed," Romney said to CNBC in April, a statement relayed to The Associated Press by his campaign on Wednesday. "I believe the president was born in the United States. And there are real reasons to get this guy out of office."
Hawaii State Registrar Alvin Onaka sent the document Tuesday confirming the information on Obama's birth certificate, such as the Honolulu hospital where he was born and the names and ages of his parents.
Hawaii officials have repeatedly verified Obama's citizenship as skeptics have maintained that the president was born in Kenya, his father's home country.
State and federal courts also have rejected lawsuits over the issue.
The verification process was the subject of three months of back and forth, with Hawaii officials initially saying Bennett had to show why he needed the information as part of ordinary business.
Other Arizona officials over the last year have raised questions about Obama's birth certificate.
Last year, the state Legislature passed a bill that would have required presidential candidates to prove their citizenship before their names could appear on the state's ballot.
The proposal was vetoed by Republican Gov. Jan Brewer, who called the measure "a bridge too far."
Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the self-proclaimed toughest sheriff in America, had a volunteer posse launch an investigation into the issue, saying in March there was reason to believe Obama's long-form birth certificate is a computer-generated forgery.
Arpaio, known for his hardline stance on illegal immigration, said Wednesday the information given to Bennett's office doesn't dispel his suspicions. He vowed to continue his posse's investigation until Hawaii officials provide microfilm of the original birth certificate or the original document itself.
Earlier this spring, Bennett's office made a change that requires candidates to complete a new form asking eligibility questions, including whether they are natural-born U.S. citizens.
In the past, political parties drafted their own certification documents that Arizona officials say didn't consistently address the issue of qualifications.
Democrat state Rep. Chad Campbell, Arizona's House minority leader, called on Bennett to step down as co-chair of the Romney campaign, saying if he doesn't, then he should resign as secretary of state.
Bennett declined through a spokesman to comment on Campbell's appeal."

"Obama on nudity, drag-racing and how to write: 20 details from Maraniss’ ‘Barack Obama: The Story’
In the forthcoming biography "Barack Obama: The Story," due in bookstores June 19, David Maraniss tells the largely untold story of Obama's family, his life growing up in Hawaii and Indonesia, his journey through college in California and New York, and his years as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago.
Some of the details from the book have already been released, including sections about Obama's pot-smoking school days in Hawaii and stories about his early girlfriends, but the book, obtained by Yahoo News, is full of stories about Obama's past (even if Obama doesn't show up in the book until Page 165).
Here are 20 details from Maraniss' book:
1. Maraniss suggests that Obama's father, Barack Obama Sr., may have abused Obama's mother.
"There is no direct evidence that Obama hit Ann. She never talked about it to her son or family, and in retrospect always tried to give their brief relationship the rosiest interpretations. But as we shall see, Obama physically abused his next wife, another American with similar characteristics. This does not mean that he abused Ann, but it leads to that possibility."
2. When Obama was 6 years old, he moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, to live with his mother and stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, in a home full of exotic animals.
"The backyard was a sight to behold, Lolo's personal Indonesian zoo: Chickens, cockatoos, snakes, turtles, two biawaks (reptiles that resemble miniature crocodiles) in a pond, and a small ape named Tata that he brought back from a mapping assignment with the army in Papua."
3. Obama's presidential ambitions stretched back to the third grade, when he wrote this paper for his class.
My name is Barry Soetoro. I am a third-grade student at SD Asisi.
My mom is my idol.
My teacher is Ibu Fer. I have a lot of friends.
I live near the school. I usually walk to the school with my mom, then go home by myself.
Someday I want to be president. I love to visit all the places in Indonesia.
Done.
The eeeeeeeeend.
4. As a teenager, Obama was in a car accident while drag-racing in Hawaii.
Obama wasn't behind the wheel of the car, but while he and some friends were racing, the car he was riding in flipped and landed upside down. The other car turned around and found Obama, who had crawled out a back window, laughing hysterically.
"You can't drive for sh*t!" he kept telling the driver.
5. Obama doesn't have hops.
He loved playing basketball in high school, but he was "one of few players on the team" who couldn't jump high enough to dunk.
6. Obama, college style.
Maraniss describes Obama's look while he was a student at Occidental College in Los Angeles:
"First there was his little toe. It stuck out from the end of his slippers, or flip-flops as they were called on the mainland. His little toe was straight, rather than cramped and curling inward, a sign that his feet enjoyed a liberated existence, unbound by leather shoes. Then there was the rest of his daily uniform: OP (Ocean Pacific) corduroy shorts or denim jeans, a shell bracelet, polo shirts or tees (including one promoting the Hawaii state senate candidacy of Neil Abercrombie...)."
7. Obama's got the moves like Jagger.
"Barry Obama played a lot of Hendrix, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Billie Holiday, but was known in the Annex for his wicked impression of Mick Jagger. He could do the walk, the strut, the face, and act out the dramatic scene of the Rolling Stones onstage at the Altamont Speedway outside Livermore, California, on December 6, 1969, ..."
8. Obama thought the world would be a better place without clothes, especially when nice-looking ladies were around.
Allegedly stoned and drunk one night at Occidental, Obama and a friend stopped to talk to an attractive girl and "Barry launched into a riff on nudity, offering his theory that the human race would be better off if people did not wear clothes. This declaration was made with the urgency of someone ready to strip then and there. ... It seemed apparent that Barry was trying to seduce the woman right in front of" his friend who had a crush on the girl.
She appeared "sympathetic to the theoretical argument but not ready to put it into practice."
9. Obama loved to wear hats in college.
"Mark Parsons said Obama displayed one small trait that showed he wanted to be a player: He wore a lot of 'stupid hats.' He usually wore them cocked, to look cool."
10. In his younger days, Obama smoked his cigarettes like he smoked his weed.
"His friends noticed that Barry had a peculiar smoking style, a little affectation. He turned his wrist up and cupped the cigarette between thumb and index finger. He smoked a cigarette the same way he smoked a joint."
11. Obama joked that he would stop smoking after he got married because it would be OK to get fat then.
Mark Parsons: "I remember him telling me he would quit after he got married. He didn't want to quit smoking because he said he would gain weight, but after he got married it would be okay to gain weight. I think it was mostly a joke."
12. The camera loved Obama, and he loved it back.
At Occidental, fellow student Lisa Jack asked to photograph him in her apartment, and Obama stole the show.
"It was one of those times when his ambition was unmistakable. ... He blew smoke like he was on a Bob Dylan album jacket. He put on his hat and cocked it low like he was Jimi Hendrix. He walked toward a heating grate and knelt down like Miles Davis. 'These are all his ideas, not mine,' Jack recalled. 'No one else got up to stand over the grate with a hat on. Nobody. I think he was into it. He was pleased he had been asked. ... In one roll of film Barry goes from innocent baby to Jimi Hendrix to a Black Panther—from having fun to thoughtful to angst.'"
13. Obama was that guy in college who didn't study much but still got better grades than you.
Friends in his class at Occidental "returned from the library late one night and found Obama lounging on the Barf Couch, smoking."
...
"'Did you finish your project?' they asked."
"'I've written it,' Obama responded. 'I just haven't written it down.' A while later Barry 'wandered off to the library' and pulled an all-nighter writing a paper that eventually got an A+."
14. Obama was known to show compassion to those who seemed lonely or different.
Friend Kofi Manu said, "Obama was especially friendly to people who seemed lonely or felt a sense of otherness. ... 'If you are alone he will come up next to you and engage you in conversation,' Manu recalled. 'People would say he was engaging, but I would say it differently. He comes to you. He is drawn to people.'"
15. Five writing tips from a future president.
A friend sent Obama a manuscript for editing, and Obama wrote back with five tips:
1) "Careful about too many adverbs, particularly describing how people speak (Paul asked disbelievingly, etc.). It can be cumbersome and a bit intrusive on the reader."
2) "Resist the temptation of easy satire. ... Good satire has to be a little muted. Should spill out from under a seemingly somber situation."
3) "Try to get the basic stats on the characters out of the way early {Paul was 24} so that you can spend the rest of the story revealing character."
4) "Think about the key moment(s) in the story, and build tension leading to those key moments."
5) "[W]rite outside your own experience. ... I find that this works the fictive imagination harder."
16. Obama slept in an alley on his first night in New York.
"Obama arrived in New York a week before [his roommate], but when he reached 109th Street he did not have a key to the apartment and could not find anyone to give him one. He spent his first night in the big city outside, curled up in a nearby alleyway, and woke up with a white hen pecking at his face."
17. Obama says he wasn't very interested in running for office during his college days.
"I don't think I could see a clear path [to the presidency]," Obama told Maraniss in an interview for the book. "At that age I was much more interested in being a leader outside of politics. If you had asked me during that time what kind of career I'd love to have, more likely I would have said something like a Bob Moses [the civil rights leader], maybe with a slightly higher profile than that. ... I would not have precluded politics, but during that period I was pretty skeptical of it. There weren't a lot of political figures at that time that I particularly admired."
18. When it came to social life, Obama was friendly, but he was no Bill Clinton.
Amelia Rugland, a student at Columbia, recalls:
"When you'd see him walking in the hall he always looked like he was thinking of something. ... He was interesting. He didn't talk to everybody and know everybody's names. He was not gregarious. It was more that he was obviously very aware of other people and their surroundings. ... He just seemed really engaged in what he was working on."
19. Obama the doodler.
"Wherever he went in Chicago, he had a pen and notebook with him. He constantly jotted notes or doodled. Since his lower school days at Punahou, when he got into superhero comics, he had shown a penchant for sketching figures and faces. 'He was always doodling, drawing, writing. He could draw,' Loretta Augustine-Herron recalled. 'He could draw when we were in meetings, things like that. He usually had a legal pad.'"
20. How Obama liked to chillax.
From a postcard Obama sent to friend Phil Boerner while he was back in Indonesia: "I'm sitting on the porch in my sarong, sipping strong coffee and drawing on a clove cigarette, watching the heavy dusk close over the paddy terraces of Java. Very kick back, so far away from the madness."

"Pro Obama Biographer Admits Obama Family History Based On Myth
Godfather Politics Yet another Barack Obama biography has been recently published. This time it was written by someone friendly to Obama. David Maraniss, in his book, Barack Obama: The Story, sought to chronicle the early years of young Obama and tell of things that molded and shaped him into being the person he is today.
Maraniss diligently researched as much as he could about Obama’s childhood, including the relationship between his parents. He looked up records and interviewed as many people as possible that may have had some knowledge of Barack Obama Sr and Ann Dunham, his father and mother.
But what Maraniss discovered was that the family history told by Obama at the 2004 National Democratic Convention and again during the 2008 presidential campaign is more fiction than fact.
For instance, Maraniss found out from close friends of Obama Sr in his 1961-62 college days that most of them never knew or heard of Ann or a child. One of those friends, a Cambodian named Kiri Tith was supposedly very close to Obama Sr. Tith told Maraniss that he had met Ann, but not though Barack and that he never had any clue that Ann and Barack even knew each other, let alone that she got pregnant by him. Yet Obama Jr tells everyone how close his parents were in those days.
Maraniss also notes that according to Obama Jr’s birth certificate, his family lived in the home of Dunham’s parents at 6085 Kalanianole Highway. But Obama Sr informed the INS that only Ann and her baby lived there without him. Yet, in his investigation, Maraniss learned that at that time, the Pratt family lived with Ann’s parents at that house and there was no room for Ann and her baby to stay there. When he interviewed the Pratt’s daughter, she had no recollection of Ann or the baby staying at the house.
There are other inconsistencies in Obama’s early life that Maraniss discovered. He said that when you add them all up, that Obama’s version of his life as told in 2004 and 2008 are “received myth, not the truth.”
So why is Barack Obama continually lying about his life? Perhaps this is why he has been refusing to make any of his records available for scrutiny. They probably contain a truth he would rather the American people never heard. Instead, he continues to lie to us every time he opens his mouth.
And if you can’t believe what he says about his own life, do you really want him in control of yours?"

It is even possible that Barack Hussein Obama is just a fabricated identity, a fictional character, that was invented in the mid-1980s, with a false bio-history, reverse-engineered thereafter.

(I call it bullsh*t, but whatever... First black slave ever from the US... Get real.... They cant find his birth certificate, but they know he is related to that JOHN PUNCH dude.... Pass me the bucket....)
"President Obama related to country’s first enslaved man
A study from Ancestry.com has determined that President Obama is related to John Punch, the first black African enslaved for life in America--which would make Punch the 11th great-grandfather of Obama.
The connection is made through Obama's mother, Stanley Ann Dunhan. The website's records say she had ancestors who were white landowners in Colonial Virginia who descended from an African man, Punch.
According to the site's press release, Punch tried to escape indentured servitude in colonial Virginia in 1640 and was punished by becoming enslaved for life. The records show that Punch had children with a white woman, and her status as free was passed on to her offspring. Punch's descendents became successful landowners in the slave-owning state of Virginia.
This would mean that the first documented slave and the first African American president have a shared lineage, claim researchers. Said Ancestry.com's genealogist Joseph Shumway, "John Punch was more than likely the genesis of legalized slavery in America. But after centuries of suffering, the Civil War, and decades of civil rights efforts, his 11th great-grandson became the leader of the free world and the ultimate realization of the American Dream."
Genealogists seem to be fascinated with the current president's family tree: The site has also traced an Irish branch of Obama's family. And researchers at the New England Historic Genealogical Society claim he is the distant cousin of movie star Brad Pitt and six past presidents, including George W. Bush."
