Some basics about Beatle Paul, to begin with a summing up: 6) Paul McCartney is today perhaps the most "well-known" case of alleged celebrity imposter fraud, although most people still have heard little-to-nothing of the rumor and supporting facts, beyond the "Paul is Dead" legend and maybe a few album clues. The general possibility of celebrity doubles and imposters seems a fantastic, unlikely story to most, mainly because of the necessary collusion/collaboration on the part of governments, police, media, the press, academics, family and friends, "the powers that be" etc. that would be required for such hoaxes to go on without being exposed. In other words, it implies that the public is being lied to in an extremely large and "Orwellian" manner, on a daily basis. ******* Please add anything to this list that you feel that I've missed or needs correction. Smothers Brothers TV show 1968 Introduction to "Hey Jude" (Smothers just says "Jude"). The drummer, to whom Faul signals at the opening and bows to at the close, is Pan, often used to symbolically depict Satan, and there are dual iron Pan faces at the entrance of the Dakota. Satan/Pan is wearing the same black with stars and moons? design on his shirt that Hitler keyboardist has on his tie. John and Yoko are Buddy Holly and Yoko: John would be publicly shot at the Dakota later that year "fade away" as the Coming up lyrics say. The Buddy Holly figure also resembles the original look of Charlie Brill, who impostered John Lennon in the 1967-1980 Yoko Ono team-up years. The horn section before Satan/Pan represents the Bonzo Dog Band and the pipes and horns (of the head) of Satan/Pan. Faul also impostered Vivian Stanshall of the Bonzo Dog so this is also a tribute to that fraud role. Faul's rose (favorite flower of Hitler) or red carnation (pun on "incarnation"?) is upside down, signifying the whole thing is wrong. Also suggests his wrong black lapel flower in MMT. Mick Fleetwood and Ginger Baker (drummer for "Cream" with Eric Clapton) have been mentioned as being the identity. But in fact the drummer doesn't particularly look like either of them, or any other celebrity. He looks like Pan/Satan with McCartney-esque eyes. Another clue may be the camera cutting to the drummer when Faul sings "I say" (Satan) .... The thin mustache man played by Linda (?) half in a dark suit and half in a white medical lab coat, below "Ron Mael from Sparks" Adolph Hitler: possibly meant to be William Patrick Hitler, Adolph's nephew born and raised in Liverpool, who moved to the USA (Long Island, NY) in 1939, gave speeches against his uncle, and joined the US Navy as a military medic in 1944 at age 32. Or one could also take it as a further attack-remark by Capp against Yoko as a non-Englishman fifth beatle who is a male "guy/fellow." But the way he says it, in context, makes the most sense as a sly Brill-exposing jibe. Earlier, (this was cut out of the youtube clip here, I've seen a fuller version that has it), Capp says to Fennon "It's true Beatles imitations aren't has hot as they used to be, (pause) but ....." He keeps calling Yoko "Madame Nhu," pointedly. It's interesting that four years later, Fennon-Ono began a media campign for "Nutopia." Also eerie and maybe relevant that Madame Nhu's husband, dictator Diem, had been shot, assassinated, in a US-backed coup in South Vietnam in the early '60s. Yoko Ono's father EISUKE ONO had been a major war criminal in Nazi-Japan-occupied Vietnam 1940-45. He was interned after the war as a war crminal and held responsible with other Japane colonial rulers of Vietnam for over a million deaths of Vietnamese civilians.
