i first saw the pid theory in ickes forum, and i did think it must be a joke, now however, after alot of reading and comparing photos, i do believe that there has deffinatly been doubles, (fauls).

If im understanding this correctly, the pid theory claims that James Paul McCartney son of James p McCartney(1902-1976) and Mary P Mohin(1909-1956) actually died in 1966 sept-dec,
and was replaced by ? and this ? is the faul we know today.

so, this faul? had to come from somewhere.
as i understand it, William Campbell and William/Bill Shears are thought to be the doubles used,

are there anymore names suspected?

or, maybe a relative could be the imposter today?

im asking because i do alot of ancestry research and im interested in the McCartney family, of course if JPM did die and it was a cover up it will be impossible to trace as the Powers that be would have covered their tracks.

Ive managed to trace the family back to the 1840's (sometimes going back is a way to go forward) im not sure if i have found anything just yet (need to do some more research)
but this fellow Aspinall is of interest to me.

so you guys know tons more than i do, so any help in the right direction would be apreciated,

Hi, Mamakaz! So glad to see you over here :-) Thanks for your research into Paul's ancestry.

It seems that Paul must have been replaced sometime around late August to December 1966. It is definitely Faul outside the EMI studios on Dec 20, 1966.

No one is really sure of the name of the imposter, but the names that have come up have been William Campbell & William Shepherd or Sheppard.

So, keep us posted on your research. Also let us know if we can help in any way :-)

Anyway, I know nothing about ancestry, so could you explain what you're getting at? The name Bill Martin has come up as a possible name for Faul. Do you think Faul could be a cousin to Paul?

The Hair Parting
From since he was born and through his early years and into Beatle life Paul's hairparting has always been on the left side (your right) of his head. Even when he had his hair natural and floppy the natural parting can still be seen on the same side of his head. This is shown in the following photos.

Now, it could be said that these are mirrored shots, but this can easily be dismissed because this is just a small number of photos which show his hair parting to be on his left hand side. Just about every photo of Paul taken before the end of 1966, including candid, show him to have the hair parting on that side of his head. However, in 1967, something quite interesting happened...

His hair parting has suddenly jumped to the other side of his head!! Again, it could be argued that these photos have been mirrored, but like before this is just a small selection of countless photos where his hair parting has suddenly jumped from one side to the other. In just about every post 1967 photo of Paul (including candid) his hair parting is on the other side of his head. My mother is a qualified, professional hair stylist and basically she's told me that it is impossible for the parting in your hair to suddenly jump over like that. The hair parting is determined by how your hair grows out from your head and thus is impossible for it to just decide to jump over like this.
