Whilst researching Eminem, I came across this photo of an interview with Dr Dre, 50 Cent and Eminem. Notice the shooting targets behind each rapper. It's been discussed here that both Eminem and 50 Cent have been replaced, so given this photo, I wondered if Dr Dre may have been also. Here's some photos for comparison. 1. This is Dre from a 1985 photo shoot for the album cover for "World Class" with his group "World Class Wreckin Cru" 2. 1986 album cover "Rapped in Romance". Dre is in the middle - already we see a much more masculine and older-looking Dre, yet this photo is only 1 year after the first. I have him first being replaced in late 85 or early 86. Nobody ages or changes this much in a year! 3. 1986 World Class Wreckin Cru photo 4. Here's Dre's 1992 Album cover, "The Chronic" 5. The Chronicle, The Best of the Works album cover from 1992 6. Here's Dre with Pink in 2001 7. 2007 8. Here's Dre in 2010 9. Again in 2010 Notice in some photo's he has no mole, others he has a very small mole on the edge of his top lip and in more recent photos he has a rather large mole. I know moles can be removed with software, but come on - this is supposed to be a gangsta rapper! Eminem also raps about Dr Dre being dead and locked in his basement. So we see he was replaced in the mid 80's but I think he may have also been replaced again. Please tell me what you think.

Absolutely replaced, although oddly enough this latest dre seems to resemble the "world class cru" '85 dre (but the skin tones don't match whatsoever, so...?). The most recent 2010 dre displays strong indications of trauma based mc. in the forehead veins and the eyes especially in the non-studio live event pic. I recall a massively buff Dre appearing at the MTV awards a few years ago, maybe two, pictured here: colo-assets.mog.com/pictures/0000/0004/5770/images/1236327107.jpg.. That muscle mass has appeared to completely vanish. In 2009, Dre's son Andre, Jr. was found dead of a heroin overdose at age 20. Hmph. Remember, too, 50 cent's Before I Self-Destruct which hyped as 50's last album. The cover portrays 50 as a cyborg. Wikipedia lists a new album slated for 2011. Wikipedia also tells us: "Initially, 50 Cent's 2007 album was planned to be Before I Self Destruct, however, he decided to push back its release date to 2008, and to release Curtis in 2007 instead". The Chronic era Dre was reportedly bisexual, perhaps that played a role in the switch. Tupac accused Dre on tape of being too busy "sucking cock and eating p*ssy" to keep up with his own musical output (Pac also accused Quincy Jones of requesting anal sex with him at Q's daughter's B-Day party). In Eminem's "my dad's gone crazy" featuring Em's daughter Haley, Em says: "I've been lying my ass off/all this time me and dre/we've been f**kin with hats off". This also lends itself to Eazy-E's AIDS passing, which is suggestive of those kinds of relations. They perhaps needed these gay dupes to help with overpopulation/resource problem in the United States. BTW, hello to the forum! Grateful for everyone's time and effort in unraveling all of this.

This info could have been posted on the My List or Replaced or Not Replaced thread. Do you mind moving them to one of these threads?

This info could have been posted on the My List or Replaced or Not Replaced thread. Do you mind moving them to one of these threads? Not a problem but aren't you the administrator? I don't think I can move threads. Also does that mean every other person-specific thread should also be moved into My List? What criteria must a person-specific topic have in order to be accepted as a new thread? Or are you saying all discussions for specific replacements should be made in My List? Just asking so I know the requirements for opening a new thread. Thanks.

Just my humble opinion, but I think that starting individual threads for individuals makes sense. It keeps all info and research on each individual in a precise location, rather than mixing it in with a hundred-page long soup of info on hundreds of people.
As a member of the forum, I vote for compartmentalizing the info based on individuals being discussed and specific ideas, theories, questions, being raised.
I vote against lumping everything into mega-threads where info about people and topics are constantly overlapping and leapfrogging each other.

I vote against lumping everything into mega-threads where info about people and topics are constantly overlapping and leapfrogging each other. I'd have to agree with this, because the 3 or 4 generic threads (My List, Use & Abuse of Celebrities, Clones & Doubles etc. have all turned into a bit of a mess - Neither thread seems to focus on a specific topic anymore and has become a dumping ground for news articles/celebrity gossip etc. Also it's impossible in the generic threads, to go back and add information about specific replacements, resulting in bits and pieces of info about the same replacement being scattered everywhere. I'm happy to abide by whatever rules are set out, but ultimately we want to make the information as accessible as possible, both from a searching and updating perspective. Please feel free to delete the last few posts to tidy up this thread.

"Case Against Dr. Dre Headed To Michigan Supreme Court
Lawsuit Against Dr. Dre Heading To Michigan Supreme Court
A case against Hip-Hop veteran Dr. Dre will be heard in Michigan Supreme Court today, as a Detroit council member continues to pursue a lawsuit against the legendary producer over a concert incident over a decade ago.
Today (January 19), the Supreme Court of Michigan will hear oral arguments from both prosecution and defense lawyers, in regards to the lawsuit, which was originally filed in 2000, shortly after the release of the Up In Smoke DVD.
In the lawsuit, brought by Councilman Gary Brown who was a police official working the “Up In Smoke Tour” in 2000, Brown claims his privacy was violated when he was recorded having a backstage meeting between officials and producers of the show.
The two parties were conflicting on an explicit video that was being shown during the concert. Brown's conversation was included on the Up In Smoke DVD titled "Detroit Controversy" which caused him and two other officers to file a $ 3 billion dollar lawsuit against Dr. Dre, which has been dismissed three times by lower courts.
In 2000, Dr Dre sued Detroit and Auburn Hills officials for blocking the use of the video, saying that it violated his First Amendment rights to freedom of expression.
He was awarded $25,000, apologies from both cities, and court-ordered First Amendment training for police officers. Dre reportedly will not be at today's hearing and will be represented by his lawyer, Herschel Fink."

I interpret that they want to tell that real Dre is dead and his body in the tube got a new soul, symbolised by the transparent singing woman. At the end of Eminem's "I Need a Doctor" we see a Dre emerge from a tank of fluid where he'd apparently been grown like plant. At the end of the video the muscled Dre clone is standing over Eric Wright's grave. Eric Wright was his old N.W.A. bandmate "Eazy E" ... so if Dre has a new soul, any guesses whose it is?

Most definitely. His voice changed throughout his career as well, similar to Eminem.
