I wanted to start this thread because - given my belief that Paul McCartney and his double Faul are really cloned twins - I followed a hunch about Judy Garland and came up with some incredible information. In a couple of biographies, which I think quoted reviews of her shows, Judy was described as having a Piaf-(French singer Edith Piaf)like quality to her. In fact, there was a Judy tribute show this summer in Paris and the advertising called her The American Edith Piaf.
Judy performed in Paris in 1960 (maybe 1961) in Edith Piaf's big venue, The Olympia. I don't know whether Judy ever met Edith Piaf, but I know that Marlene Dietrich, who knew both women, was there.
Anyway, I've done a little research on Edith Piaf and the similarities are a bit EERIE:
1. Edith's mother was a cafe singer. Judy's mother was a movie house singer.
2. Edith's father was a street acrobat. Judy started out as a child performer doing acrobatics and eventually took professional lessons in Los Angeles.
3. From age 3 to 7, Edith was blind due to keratitis but was supposedly healed miraculously. At age 5 or 6, Judy suffered a life-threatening ear infection but she was healed by radical medical intervention.
4. At age 14, Piaf began to perform in public with her father but soon separated from him. Judy started performing with her father earlier but, when she was only 13, her father died.
5. At 17, Piaf had a child who died at age 2. At 19, Judy was forced to abort her first child.
6. In 1935, Piaf was discovered by a nightclub owner, Louis Leplee. In 1935, Judy was discovered by MGM head Louis B. Mayer and her first job for MGM was performing in a nightclub.
7. Edith Piaf was 4'8". Judy Garland was 4'11".
8. Edith's nightclub gigs led to her first records. Judy's nightclub gigs also led to her first records (on Decca).
9. After WWII, Piaf toured the U.S., Europe and South America. After WWII, Garland toured England, Ireland and Scotland (South America, Australia and other parts of Europe later).
10. Piaf appeared at Carnegie Hall in 1956 and 1957 (age 42). Garland appeared at Carnegie Hall in 1961 and 1962 (age 38).
11. The love of Piaf's life was Marcel Cerdan, a middleweight boxer, who died in a plane crash. The love of Garland's life was Sydney Luft, who had been a middleweight boxer in the armed forces and who almost died while suspended from a plane.
12. Piaf had morphine and alcohol addictions after a car crash in 1951. Garland had an alcohol addiction during her days at MGM and developed a morphine addiction in the 1960s.
13. Piaf was in rehab three times. Garland was in rehab three or four times.
14. Piaf died of liver cancer. Garland almost died of cirrhosis of the liver in 1959 and doctors said that it was so severe that she didn't have many more years left to live anyway.
15. Piaf died in 1963 at age 47. Garland died in 1969 at age 47.
16. Piaf had 100,000 people lined up to pay their respects. Garland had 20,000.
17. Piaf has a minor planet named after her. Garland has a rose named after her.
18. Both women had big voices and looked strikingly similar. They even look the same as they aged.
Could it be possible that both of these women were cloned twins who were separated and placed with two different mothers, one in Minnesota, USA and one in Paris, France? Piaf was born 6 and one-half years before Garland, but with cloning technology such as it IS and WAS, time makes no difference. What is the probability that they and their lives were so similar? Was some of it scripted that way? Was some of it genetically programmed?
What is going on here?
