Here are some strange "coincidences" surrounding John's/Fohn's death: John Lennon was assassinated outside the Dakota Apartments in New York on Dec. 8, 1980. A guy named Mark Lindsay Chapman was cast to play John Lennon in a 2007 movie. www.imdb.com/name/nm0152464/ www.imdb.com/title/tt0488988/ 13 years to the day after the release of "Magical Mystery Tour" album (December 8, 1967), a man with the initials M.D.C was presented as his assassin. There is a sign in "Magical Mystery Tour" that says "The best way to go is by M&DC."  Was this a ritualistic killing? The Dakota was where "Rosemary's Baby" was filmed in 1968. |

I tend to think that the real Lennon escaped to Toronto, Canada in 1974 during that drug fiasco and threat of deportment. His double, Charlie Brill, had already been impersonating John since late 1965 (the earliest videos I can find of Fohn). The "death" in 1980 was a fake, although it's hard to know why John and his double carried it out.
In my opinion, John is living in Germany as guitarist/singer Tony Sheppard (sp?). There are plenty of YouTube videos showing him at Beatlesfest concerts and doing Beatles history interviews. He sports a mustache and beard, wears glasses and a baseball cap.

Oh, yeah, But isn't "Bill" Sheppard supposed to be "Bill/Faul"? Or is he supposed to be Bill Campbell?
He has been named among a list of strange characters:

Anyhow....so let me get this straight, the real John Lennon lives in Germany and plays at Beatlefests or is it supposed to be Charlie Brill?
I'm getting a horrible image of a Polka style Beatlefest and this Fohn image wearing those shorts that men in Germany wear ...and the name has slipped my mind...

Someone said "Billy" was a generic name for replacements, kind of like "John" for a prostitute's customer. I don't know if that's true. I asked for the source of that person's information, but I haven't heard back yet.

The name of Lennon's replacement was Charlie Brill. He's an actor and he's still alive. The real Lennon, IMHO, is living in Germany under another name. I highly doubt the real Lennon is alive. IMO I think there were several fake Lennons. |

^Great recollection of experiences with John and Yoko. But none of the post-Beatles stories make total sense without knowing about Paul's death. This puts everything in perspective.
