"Brooke Mueller Going to Rehab… in Mexico
Charlie Sheen’s crackhead ex-wife Brooke Mueller is trying her hand at rehab for the 364th time — this time a rehab facility in Cancun, Mexico that utilizes hallucinogens in the treatment process. Yeah, it made perfect sense to me, too. TMZ says:
It’s called Ibogaine, a substance extracted from an iboga plant, [which is illegal in the U.S.]. Some studies show it interrupts addictions to alcohol, cocaine, methadone and heroin.
Brooke is saying the program is seven days and it’s “extreme,” but she’s confident it will “rewire” her brain to break her addictions.
Brooke has been hospitalized since her confrontation Thursday on a United jet bound for Cancun. We’re told she’ll make the trip when she’s released from the hospital.
Just how serious is the Ibogaine stuff? Well, have you ever heard the expression “tripping balls?” This is it, man. The ever-accurate Wikipedia says:
[Ibogaine users] often include a movie-like recollection of earlier life experiences as well as dreamlike sequences with symbolism of one’s present or anticipated future. Other effects in the visual phase may include laughing, sensations of euphoria or fear, and temporary short-term memory impairment. The visual phase usually ends after one to four hours, after which the introspective phase begins. The introspective phase is typically reported to bring elevated mood, a sense of calm and euphoria, and a distinct intellectual and emotional clarity. Subjects often report being able to accomplish deep emotional and intellectual introspection into psychological and emotional concerns. It is also during this period that opioid addicts first notice the absence of withdrawal symptoms or cravings. The duration of the introspective phase is highly variable, usually lasting hours but sometimes lasting days."

"Stephanie Seymour Calls Cops On Peter Brant Jr.: Report
Stephanie Seymour can't win 'em all.
After calling off her divorce from paper magnate and polo-playing husband Peter Brant thanks, in part, to an Indian blanket, the supermodel is (or was?) supposedly on the rocks with another Peter Brant -- Peter Brant, Jr., the couple's 18-year-old son.
Page Six reports that Seymour had to phone the police after the pair had an argument:
Lt. Richard Cochran said that when police responded, they were told the mother and son had argued because "the son was going to visit with the mom, and the mom canceled." Cochran said: "It was all civil in nature."
Seymour and her lawyer refused to comment for the gossip column.
Peter, Jr. if you remember, was caught getting close to his mom on the beach in St. Barths at the beginning of the year and the photographs prompted him to send the following defense to Gawker:
I would just like to say that these pictures have been taken completely out of context, my mother and i are very close as she is with all her children. she often hugs and kisses me and my siblings in an manner that is intimate, any mother in the world does the same. that day on the beach we walked around with each other completely aware of the presence of photographers there. We have nothing to hide."Theres far more to this story than meets the eye. Im absolutely sure they're having an incestuous relationship. As many commenters said, u just dont call the police coz u dont want to see ur son, like Stephanie did. Crocodile Dundee star David Ngoombujarra is found dead in a park aged just 44
Aboriginal last starred in epic Australia with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman
An Australian actor who shared the screen with Hollywood A-listers Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, has been found dead in a park, aged just 44.
David Ngoombujarra's body was discovered on Sunday in Fremantle, Western Australia, but police are not reporting it as suspicious.
His last role was in Baz Luhrmann's Australia, shot in his native Oz with fellow Aussies Kidman, Jackman and the director himself.
The award-winning screen star also appeared in the third Crocodile Dundee film in 2001 alongside Golden Globe-winner Paul Hogan.
Unusually, while most actors are encouraged to change their names to something more pronounceable, David chose a trickier stage name and was in fact born David Bernard Starr.
Ngoombujarra was honoured with the prestigious Australian Film Institute prize three times; for roles in Blackfellas, Black And White, and The Circuit.
Black And White starred homegrown talent Robert Carlyle, who played a lawyer for a young aboriginal man who was sentenced to death after being found guilty of the murder of a nine-year-old girl.
Jackman paid tribute to his friend on Twitter, saying: 'So saddened to hear about the passing of David Ngoombujarra Starr.
'An extraordinary man, actor and friend.
'His laugh, warmth and humanity will live on with all who knew him.'
David was born in remote Western Australia in 1967 and his career spanned two decades, gaining him a reputation as one of the country's most respected Indigenous actors.
Indigenous actor and presenter Ernie Dingo, who co-starred with Ngoombujarra in an ABC television series, described his friend as a man who was 'always in touch with his culture, wherever he was'.
He added: 'Very sadly, he was lost between two cultures.'
Indigenous Australians are the original inhabitants of the continent and are known as either Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders - and make up more than 2.5 per cent of the country's population.
The results of a toxicology report are yet to be released."

"Nicolas Cage's son Weston arrested AGAIN for domestic violence
Just days after reuniting with his estranged wife Nikki Williams, Nicolas Cage's son Weston has been arrested for domestic violence against her - for the second time in a month.
The 21-year-old heavy metal musician was picked up by Los Angeles Police at around 5am yesterday morning and immediately taken to a local hospital for self inflicted cuts.
He was then transported to a police station where he is still being held on $50,000 bail.
Weston's wife Nikki, who is four months pregnant, is 'safe and away from him,' according to her mother who spoke to TMZ after the incident.
He and pregnant Nikki were arrested together on domestic violence charges at the start of the month.
They had both admitted having a drink problem after the booze-fuelled row that led to the charges and went into rehab last week.
South African singer Nikki admitted last week: 'Weston and I did get physical with one another and he did not hit me in the face. We may be passionate, but we are not crazy.
'We are not pressing charges against each other and we are working through our issues.'
She hinted the row may have been sparked after Weston caught her drinking alcohol.
She told TMZ: 'I did drink the night before the arrest. I suppose my hormones got the best of me. That was the only occasion I consumed alcohol since I found out that I'm pregnant and I really regret my decision to do so.'
Nikki - who only married Weston in April - added: 'We love each other very much.' "
SELF INFLICTED CUTS? Its outrageous what are they doing to this kid...

"Shocking Charges: Britney Used Drugs, Breaks Wind And Picks Her Nose ‘Unapologetically’ "
Britney Spears' ex-minder has painted a disturbing portrait of the pop superstar in sensational new court papers -- alleging she used various drugs including methamphetamines and a drug used to treat heroin or morphine overdoses. The attorney for Spears’ Co-Conservators has filed a motion to strike these allegations claiming they are false.
Former cop Fernando Flores is suing the star’s conservators alleging sexual harassment against Spears. Flores alleges he faced a series of bizarre come-ons from Britney, 29, who paraded naked in front of him and often beckoned him into her bedroom for sex.
In recent filings of Flores' lawsuit, a copy of which RadarOnline.com and Star magazine have exclusively obtained, the former bodyguard ratcheted up his charges against the Toxic singer, claiming she broke wind and picked her nose "unapologetically," did not shower for days on end, nor brushed her teeth or ever wore deodorant.
"Spears was generally personally unkempt," Flores, 29, alleged.
The ex-staffer -- who is claiming at least $10 million damages from Britney for what he describes as "repeated, unwanted sexual advances and harassment" -- detailed in court papers filed in Los Angeles how the chart-topping diva craved a cocktail of drugs during the time he worked for her.
"Based on his former experience as a police officer, Plaintiff (Flores) is informed and believes and alleged thereon that Defendant Spears was often under the influence of illegal prescription and non-prescription drugs, such as Ritalin, Narcon (Naloxone) and methamphetamines," the documents state.
He claims, "Defendant Spears was mentally unstable, and personally obnoxious and demanding, requiring her staff on various occasions and for no rationally discernable reasons to address her as "Jennifer" or "Queen Bee," on other occasions, Defendant Spears would cut her hair in an erratic fashion, leaving uneven and bald spots on her head."
Ritalin is used as part of a treatment program to control symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in adults.
Narcon, or Naloxone, is an opiate antagonist and prevents or reverses the effects of opiate overdose, for example heroin or morphine overdose. It is specifically used to counteract life-threatening depression of the central nervous system and respiratory system, sedation and hypotension.
Flores worked for Spears from February until July, 2010, when he stormed out of her Calabasas, Calif., mansion after she allegedly bent over in a short nightie to expose herself.
"Spears made repeated unwanted sexual advances to Plaintiff, summoning (him) to her room at her residence for no other purpose or reason than to expose her naked or near naked body to Plaintiff," according to the suit.
But Flores insists "the sexual advances of Spears were unwanted for a variety of reasons."
"Spears had obnoxious personal habits, such as chain smoking cigarettes, which made her smell continually of stale tobacco," he wrote in his court document.
"She broke wind or picked her nose unselfconsciously and unapologetically before Plaintiff (Flores) and others and she was constantly and gratuitously loud and profane in her speech.
"She did not bathe for days on end, did not use deodorant, did not brush her teeth, did not fix her hair, did not wear shoes or socks."
According to Flores, he suffered psychological damage, anxiety attacks, depression and insomnia as a result of Britney's alleged harassment.
Soon after the suit was filed, last year, the Spears family released a statement saying it was "just another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself."
Since, Britney has filed a series of pre-emptives strikes in court, including a motion to strike the lawsuit and a demurrer -- the equivalent of an objection -- arguing Flores cannot sue for distress resulting from witnessing Britney's antics and any harassment was not "severe" or "pervasive."
The motion to strike accuses Flores of continuing "to embellish on his tale of lewd and sensational allegations."
The new allegations, as revealed by Star, the motion says: "contain a litany of insults toward Ms. Spears" that are "clearly designed to prejudice Ms. Spears in the eyes of the public and the Court."

"Gruesome Details In Death of NBA Player
The family of murdered NBA star Lorenzen Wright is suing officials in Germantown, TN -- claiming it wouldn't have taken police 9 days to find his corpse if cops would simply have had Internet access. Wright was shot and killed in July 2010. A witness called 911 during the shooting ... but the caller never disclosed Wright's location. Still, Wright's family believes cops should have tracked the origin of the call with a common Internet program ... which would have allowed them to quickly locate Wright and possibly save his life.
Instead, it took cops 9 days to find Wright's body -- and by that time, the family claims ... "the exposure to the elements including substantial rain, extreme heat, indigenous animals and insects had reduced the remains from roughly 225 lbs to 57 lbs."
So why didn't the cops have Internet access? Wright's family claims officials had BLOCKED the police from using online programs because certain officers had been abusing their web access.
Wright's family is devastated -- and wants the city to fork over more than $2 million in damages.
Wright was 34 years old at the time of his death. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting."

The next step, as expected...
"Weston Cage Checks Into Rehab With Parents' Support
Weston Cage may have had his fair share of trouble with the law, but he's ready to turn over a new leaf.
In light of an arrest on a felony domestic violence charge Wednesday, E! News learns that the 20-year-old son of Christina Fulton and Nicolas Cage has checked into rehab with the support of his parents.
According to Cage's rep Jerry Digney, Weston will be at a top-rated rehab center for approximately 30 days.
"Many fine opportunities await such a talented young man, including negotiations with a major production company utilizing his exceptional martial arts and acting skills," Digney told us, "Weston is getting the help and support that he needs during this time. We are all hoping that he will be able to do it respectfully, in peace."
In hopes of changing any misconceptions, Weston addresses the situation with his wife, Nikki Williams, along with his future goals.
"I would like to congratulate my multi-talented wife on her recent recording contract. I have always been supportive of her music. In no way would I ever be jealous of her successes, as I do not follow her preferred musical genre, and am personally working on a new solo album that I should have recorded a long time ago, " he tells E! News.
"I am getting myself together, so I'm sorry about being mislabeled by people who don't know me, or realize that I come from a long line of creative and successful artists."

I had just heard about Amy Winehouse, and thought of her hit, "Rehab" and considering the subject of rehabs, and how little they really help those celebs. It brings me to think of several things regarding rehabs...
1. That they do more harm than good for those who seek to be free from their addictions. I think it's more like a programming system for mind control slaves.
2. That most rehabs are more of a "resort" rather than a place to find deliverance.
3. Celebs only go through the motions because of publicity or because of court appointed rehab.
Or..a combination of the above....do these people ever get the help they need?

Now she's part of "Club 27". As I said before, poor Amy's troubles began a few years ago, when she called Queen Elizabeth "a lizard". Absolutely a mind control victim. Im still under state of shock. Maybe Im going too far, but I used to call her the "Jewish Aretha Franklin". RIP dear sweetie. BTW, looks like the events go hand in hand: the Norway shooting and the death of a celebrity... On FICKE's forum, ironically, I was mocked at when I said that "they" killed her. Enuff morons argued that there is no "they" who killed them, but her dangerous lifestyle. How convenient, ha? new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/stopthepresses/392228/police-singer-amy-winehouse-dies-at-age-27/#mwpphu-post-form

Another heavily abused and programmed celeb/replacement? Hope to be around more late next week. We researched Amy here and everyone's opinion was the same: she wasnt replaced, she was the real deal. Even if she was replaced, that doesnt change the things.

Yes, her death either way is very sad - there was real talent there and a unique style which was truly special. I just wasn't sure if we had seen any signs of a replacement being the one the world came to know as "Amy." That's interesting that she wasnt' replaced - but obviously horribly tormented and tortured throughout her short life. I think the powers that be MADE her do that "hit" the Rehab song and then purposefully used that as a meme to program the rest of her life around. That whole "they wanted me to go to rehab and I said no, no no" chorus really is typical of the twisted, dark humor of the bad ones - they really are horribly cruel, especially in how they use and abuse talented spirits.
I would bet that she was programmed to fall for drug addict Blake and that relationship was never going to be helpful, sending her on a downward spiral extra fast, and I think she truly loved him.

"Weston Cage Checked Into Rehab To Become An Action Star. Okay, Sure.
After finally winning/losing his first fight, albeit against himself, Weston Cage has checked back into rehab for reasons that reveal his mom Christina Fulton is just as f**king crazy as he is which raises serious questions about the transitive batsh*t properties of Nicolas Cage’s gonads. E! News reports:
“Many fine opportunities await such a talented young man, including negotiations with a major production company utilizing his exceptional martial arts and acting skills,” Christina told us. Added her spokesman: “Weston is getting the help and support that he needs during this time. We are all hoping that he will be able to do it respectfully, in peace.”
And because someone made the mistake of letting these people know they can issue statements to the media, Weston, of course, had some words of his own he’d like to add. Mostly about not being jealous of his wife’s music because she’s totally in a different genre than metal. I have no f**king clue:
“I would like to congratulate my multi-talented wife on her recent recording contract. I have always been supportive of her music. In no way would I ever be jealous of her successes, as I do not follow her preferred musical genre, and am personally working on a new solo album that I should have recorded a long time ago, ” he tells E! Full display of Princesses' MK right under our noses
"Blubbing Fergie hits a new low: Duchess allows Beatrice and Eugenie to be filmed clearly in distress for latest TV series
She says her girls are the centre of her universe.
Which begs the question why the Duchess of York allowed the Queen’s grand-daughters to be filmed crying, and at times clearly in distress, for her latest television series.
The six-part Finding Sarah has seen the shamed duchess pour her heart out to psychologists in an effort to cure her ‘poisonous’ spending issues.
n the final episode, which was shown on Sunday and featured the duchess frequently dissolving into tears, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie appear in several scenes discussing their mother’s ‘journey’.
While neither are children any more, at 22 and 21 respectively, it is clear that their mother’s recent woes have had a troubling effect on them.
This includes the incident in which Sarah was caught demanding £500,000 from a bogus businessman to arrange access to ex-husband Prince Andrew.
In the programme, Sarah receives a phone call from an unidentified person who tells her that the friend who originally helped set up the News of the World sting was planning to sell her story.
Viewers are told that the duchess is able to deal with the blow thanks to her ‘newfound strength’, but the camera then cuts to Eugenie, who is clearly upset by the prospect of yet more negative headlines.
Although her daughter is obviously sobbing, Sarah allows the cameras to continue to roll as she leads her through the garden of her former family home.
‘Seeing Eugenie so upset brought out the fighter in me,’ the duchess says in a voice-over.
Leading her away, Sarah then says: ‘What’s wrong Eug?’ to her daughter who has turned away from the cameras.
Sobbing Eugenie replies: ‘I don’t like it.’
Sarah: ‘It’s fine baby, it’s fine [as Eugenie continues to cry]. Don’t be sad, don’t be sad, what are you getting sad for? They can’t hurt you, they can’t hurt us. We’ve got to keep tough.’
As Eugenie sobs again, burying her face in her mother’s coat, Sarah says: ‘Baby’, before finally walking away.
The segment appears to be filmed at the duchess’s childhood home in Hampshire where she is shown with her stepmother, Susan, and Eugenie hugging around the kitchen table and looking at pictures of her time with the Royal Family.
In another scene, Beatrice appears in what seems to be a hotel room discussing her mother’s ‘re-invention’.
The pair hug, with the camera panning in on the weeping young woman’s face.
Yesterday the Daily Mail reported that the duchess claims to have cleared her estimated £2million-worth of debts thanks to the help of her former husband, only weeks after claiming she was still on the brink of bankruptcy.
She agreed to take part in the television series, which is being produced by Oprah Winfrey and is being broadcast only in the U.S., as a way to kick-start her career following her ‘cash for access’ humiliation last year after a string of failed business deals left her badly in debt for the second time in her life.
The programme has followed her as she consulted a series of psychotherapists and even a horse whisperer in her efforts to cure her ‘inability’ to cope with money.
At the end of the last programme she appears to blame it on poor self-esteem caused by her mother, Susan Barrantes, walking out on her as a young girl.
She says: ‘I now see that my mother abandoning me wasn’t my fault, and that is a revelation. I’ve learned it’s not what happens in your life, it’s what you say to yourself about what happens in your life.’
Sarah says she is now ‘fighting like a lioness’ after battling her ‘addiction to acceptance and approval’.
It emerged yesterday that she has a number of money-spinning schemes up her sleeve, including a new range of children’s books.
Fergie’s Farm is still in its early stages but will focus on the adventures of a group of farm animals. It is likely to come out next year.
There will also be another, undisclosed, range of books targeted at young people, while Finding Sarah: A Duchess’s Journey To Find Herself, a book based on the U.S. TV series, is already in the shops."

More proofs AMY was definitely murdered...
"Winehouse family confirms Amy's funeral will take place today as tributes continue to pour in
Amy's parents visit the tributes to the singer outside her home Singer will be cremated in Golders Green, north London, today She could have been dead for 'up to six hours' when she was found 'Inconsolable' ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil says, 'My tears just won't dry' Security guard Andrew Morris found singer not breathing in bed
Amy Winehouse's funeral will be held today for family and close friends to attend as tributes continue to pour in for the singer.
The ceremony will happen even though her cause of death is not yet known as police have said it will be up to four weeks before tests have been carried out.
She will be cremated in Golders Green, north London, after the private service.
The 27-year-old's parents Mitch and Janis Winehouse paid an emotional visit to the shrine made in tribute to the singer outside her London home yesterday.
They sobbed as they looked at the flowers, candles, cuddly toys and even cigarette boxes and alcoholic drinks left at the edge of police cordons surrounding the singer's house.
A spokesman for the family said last night: 'The funeral will take place on Tuesday and will be a family and close friends affair.'
He would not reveal details about the location or time of the funeral, which Jewish law states has to take place as soon as possible.
Mr Winehouse, a former taxi driver, said yesterday: 'Amy was about one thing and that was love. Her whole life was devoted to her family and her friends and to you guys as well.
'We're devastated and I'm speechless, but thanks for coming.'
Amy's parents sought support from each other and were seen hugging and condoling the other as they took in the reality of what has happened.
They have said they are 'devastated' and 'speechless' by their daughter's death, whose inquest was opened and adjourned. The cause of death has not yet been specified and toxicology tests will now be carried out. Police have ruled out foul play.
Meanwhile, Amy's ex-boyfriend Reg Traviss has spoken about his devastation following the singer's death.
The film director told The Sun: 'The last three days have been hell. We have suffered a terrible loss and want peace now. I can't describe what I am going through and I want to thank so much all of the people who have paid their respects and who are mourning the loss of Amy, such a beautiful, brilliant person and my dear love. I have lost my darling who I loved very much.'
Traviss added Amy had been looking forward to attending a friend's wedding on Sunday, and had even been trying to decide which outfit to wear.
He added: 'Amy had laid out dresses to make up her mind. She was really looking forward to it.'
Sharon Duff, coroner's officer at St Pancras Coroner's Court, said during the two minute hearing yesterday: 'I bring before you the death of Amy Jade Winehouse who was aged 27 born on the 14th September 1983 in London.
'She was a divorced lady living at Camden Square, NW1. She was certified dead at her home on July 23 by a paramedic and a doctor. She was a singer/songwriter at the time of her death.
'She was identified by her family here at St Pancras this morning. A section 20 post mortem has been carried out today and samples have been taken for histology and toxicology to determine the cause of death.
'The scene has been examined by police who have deemed it non-suspicious.'
Assistant Deputy Coroner Suzanne Greenaway said Winehouse's inquest would resume on October 26.
The singer's ex-boyfriend Reg Traviss was also present with Janis and Mitch and he viewed the memorial site quietly. Mitch, who flew home from New York upon hearing the tragic news of his daughter's death, thanked reporters, photographers and fans for their support.
He said: 'I know a lot of you, we've been together for five, six years, I know you've got a job to do. I'm glad you're all here anyway.'
'And you people in the street, I can't tell you what this means to us - it really is making this a lot easier for us.
'Amy was about one thing and that was love, her whole life was devoted to her family and her friends and to you guys as well. We're devastated and I'm speechless but thanks for coming.'
He also spoke with members of the public who had turned out to pay their respects to the singer.
Amy's mother Janis broke down in tears after leaving the coroner's court and sought comfort from Mitch and her son, Amy's brother Alex.
Pieces of artwork had also been laid down, including a striking photo of Winehouse posing in a bar, and a picture by artist Mysterious Al, showing her face with monochrome cartoon eyes and a white streak in her trademark beehive hair.
Amy's close friend Kelly Osbourne flew to London after learning the news of her death.
The singer was extremely distressed and dressed all in black as she made her way tearfully through the airport.
Amy's mother Janis had seen her daughter the day before her death and the singer told her: ‘I love you, Mum.’
The multi-millionaire had repeatedly tried but failed to overcome her addiction to alcohol, particularly vodka, and drugs.
Miss Winehouse, 27, was found at her North London home by a bodyguard on Saturday afternoon.
She was believed to be ‘devastated’ after splitting up with her on-off boyfriend, film director Reg Traviss, who was seen outside her home hours after her body was discovered.
Amy's mother Janis told yesterday how she saw her daughter the day before she died, describing her as 'out of it'.
She said: 'Her passing so suddenly still hasn't hit me, adding that Amy told her she loved her.
'They are the words I will always treasure,' she said. I'm glad I saw her when I did.'
It has been claimed Amy had bought drugs the night before her death but a preliminary police investigation has shown no drug paraphernalia was found at Miss Winehouse’s £2.5million home.
Police sources have indicated she died following a drink binge.
Asked about the circumstances of Miss Winehouse's death, her PR spokesperson Chris Goodman told The Sun: 'Amy was on her own at home apart from a security guard who we had appointed to help look after her over the past couple of years.
She was in her bedroom after saying she wanted to sleep and when he went to wake her he found she wasn't breathing.
'He called the emergency services straight away. He was very shocked. At this stage no-one knows how she died. She died alone in bed.'
It was also claimed Miss Winehouse may have been dead for up to six hours before she was found by her security guard, Andrew Morris.
A source told the newspaper: 'Rigor mortis had set in, indicating she is likely to have been dead for anything up to six hours.'
The singer had lunch with her mother Janis the day before she died. Mrs Winehouse believed her daughter’s death had been ‘only a matter of time’.
They had met in Camden and Mrs Winehouse said her daughter had ‘seemed weary, but that wasn’t particularly unusual as she always went to bed late. Her passing so suddenly still hasn’t hit me’.
As mother and daughter kissed on the doorstep of Miss Winehouse’s home, she said: ‘I love you, Mum.’
‘They are the words I will always treasure and always remember Amy by,’ said Mrs Winehouse, who lives in Enfield, North London.
It has also been claimed Miss Winehouse had a medical examination by her doctor just hours before she died.
A source said: 'The doctor was happy with her condition. When he left on Friday night he had no concerns. Less than 24 hours later she was found dead. Amy's health has been very fragile and she has been having a series of check-ups.'
Others questioned whether she had been adequately supported by her management and record label, Island, which is owned by Universal, for her addictions.
On her secret Facebook page, where she used the name Shirley Baxter, the singer recently joked about her place being cemented in the drug-ridden North London scene, writing to a friend ‘Camden Forever’.
Only last month Miss Winehouse had checked out of the Priory Clinic following intensive treatment for her drinking and was given the all-clear to carry on with her comeback European tour. At the time, it was confirmed she would continue as an out-patient.
She then performed a seven-song set at the prestigious 100 Club in London in front of friends and family and was deemed to be ‘back on form’.
But weeks later she was booed off stage at a gig in Belgrade, Serbia, after giving a dazed performance and delivering barely recognisable versions of her hits. The tour was swiftly cancelled.
Following this debacle, Miss Winehouse kept a low profile. She spent most of her time with her close friend, Big Brother contestant Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, who told the Mail: ‘I’m absolutely distraught by the death of my dear friend Amy.
‘She was a loving, wonderful person with an enormous talent and big heart. Fragile but strong, beautiful but deep.
‘I will always remember her as the person she actually was, and not the way in she was often portrayed.’
Staff at the A Baia cafe on Camden Square claimed the singer had attempted to give up drinking in the weeks leading up to her death.
Owner Ze Silva said she would come in for fried breakfasts, adding: ‘She would always come here with her bodyguards and play pool, sometimes twice a day.
‘But in the last two, three weeks she didn’t drink. She said she had given up. She just had a Coca Cola. She told me, “I’m not drinking. Don’t give me anything to drink if I ask for it. I mustn’t have it”.’
Miss Winehouse’s ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil will be ‘devastated’, according to his mother.
Fielder-Civil is currently in prison after being sentenced last month to 32 months for burglary and possession of an imitation firearm.
Talking to The Sun from prison, Fielder-Civil is quoted as saying he is 'beyond inconsolable' about his ex-wife's death, adding, 'My tears won't dry'.
He added: 'I will never ever again feel the love I felt for her. Everybody who knew me and Amy knew the depth of our love. I can't believe she's dead.'
And Fielder-Civil's girlfriend Sarah Aspin, who has a newborn son with him, said Miss Winehouse would be sorely missed,
She said: 'Blake is the father of our son. But I saw him and Amy together and I know they were really in love and were soulmates.
'She always loved him and he always loved her - but it was just never going to work. Basically they couldn't live with each other and they couldn't live without each other.
'It is hard for me knowing he still loved her, but I do understand his feelings.'
The couple married in Miami, Florida, in 2007 but divorced in 2009. He has long been blamed for bringing about her drugs downfall."
