Some info on Jan & Dean from the famous Laurel Canyon articles by Dave McGowan: Bruce Berry, a roadie for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, died of a heroin overdose in June 1973. Berry had just flown out to Maui to deliver a shipment of cocaine to Stephen Stills, and was promptly sent back to LA by Crosby and Nash. Berry was a brother of Jan Berry, of Jan and Dean. (Dean Torrence, the “Dean” of Jan and Dean, had played a part in the fake kidnapping of Frank Sinatra, Jr., just after the JFK assassination. The staged event was a particularly lame effort to divert attention away from the questions that were cropping up, after the initial shock had passed, about the events in Dealey Plaza.)www.davesweb.cnchost.com/nwsltr95.html

"18 March 2010 16:22 Australian Child Star In 'Abuse' Claims
Former child actress SARAH MONAHAN has shocked fans in her native Australia by alleging she was sexually abused on the set of 1980s sitcom HEY DAD!
The 32 year old shot to fame when she was nine years old playing school girl Jenny Kelly on the show, which ran Down Under from 1987 to 1994.
Monahan has now opened up about her time on the series, alleging she was molested by an unnamed man but was too scared to speak up in case she lost her job.
She tells Australia's Woman's Day magazine, "This person used to sit me on his lap or tickle me, but then he started putting his arm around me and trying to do this reach-around and grabbing me, but at the same time trying to feel me up. He was always there flashing me or trying to cop a feel.
"I quickly learned never to be alone in private with him, especially when he started flashing me."
Monahan has not named the man, or stated whether he was a worker on the show.
The actress' former co-star Julie MCGregor has spoken to an Australian TV network about the revelations and admits she's shocked by Monahan's claims.
She tells Nine Network, "I had heard something but I had no idea the extent of the monstering... and I feel sorry for her that there was no one that she could feel she could turn to. I think whoever this person was was very clever. They knew how to operate."
Monahan now runs a TV production company in the U.S. with her husband."

Famecrawler blogs.babble.com/famecrawler/2010/04/26/big-age-gap-so-what-hollywoods-may-dec-moms-dads/Big Age Gap? So What! Celebrity May Dec Moms & DadsHave you seen Kick Ass, the movie with the potty mouthed pre-teen super hero? The film’s star Aaron Johnson is going to be a daddy.
Aaron, just 19, is engaged to marry 43 year old British artist Sam Taylor Wood. That’s a whopping 24 year age difference!
Sam is seven months pregnant and has two children from a previous marriage. Of his impending daddydom, Aaron says, “It’s not scary. I’m already a step dad to [Taylor-Wood's kids Angelica, 13, and Jessie, 3] anyway. So the nerves have sort of gone.”
That’s some serious maturity. And while many will whisper in hushed voices in the corner of fancy Hollywood parties over the fact that Aaron is just 6 years older than his step-daughter and far too young to be married to a woman Sam’s age, who is really to say it won’t work. There have been plenty of celebrity May December romances that include kids and have worked out happily.
