Why was Tupac killed?
RSS TXL User ID: 857557 2/6/2010 4:08 AM Report abusive post Why was Tupac killed? Quote
I once watched a documentary hosted by two of Tupac's bodyguards and I recall they mention that after Tupac was shot in Vegas that they overheard over their walkie talkies what sounded like possibly a white man saying "We got him" and then another voice saying "Don't use these lines." Randall William "Randy" Rhoads (December 6, 1956 – March 19, 1982) was an American heavy metal guitarist who played with Ozzy Osbourne and Quiet Riot. A devoted student of classical guitar, Rhoads often combined his classical music influences with his own heavy metal style. While on tour with Ozzy Osbourne, he would seek out classical guitar tutors for lessons. Despite his relatively short career, Rhoads is a major influence on neo-classical metal players that emerged in the 1980s such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Angelo Batio, Jason Becker, and Jeff Young.[citation needed] He is cited as an influence by many contemporary heavy metal guitarists.

[edit] Childhood and early life Rhoads was born on December 6, 1956 at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, California. He was the youngest of three children. His older brother, Doug, who goes by the name of Kelle Rhoads, is a drummer and vocalist who also arranges classical compositions. His sister's name is Kathy.
When Randy was 17 months old, his father, William Arthur Rhoads, left his mother, Delores Rhoads, and the three kids, but he stayed in touch with Randy even up until his son's death. Mrs. Rhoads has owned and operated the Musonia School of Music in North Hollywood, California, since 1949. Rhoads started playing guitar at age six on his grandfather's old Gibson "Army-Navy" classical acoustic guitar. According to Rhoads' mother, he learned to play folk guitar, a popular way to learn guitar at the time, although he did not take lessons for very long. Rhoads was always evolving toward a hard rock/metal lead guitar style, but he was heavily influenced by classical music as well.
[edit] Quiet Riot
At the age of 14 Rhoads formed a cover band called Violet Fox (after his mother's middle name, Violet), with his older brother Kelle on drums. Violet Fox staged several performances in the "Grand Salon" at Musonia, Delores Rhoads' music school. Among their setlist was "Mississippi Queen" by Mountain, as well as songs from The Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper, and David Bowie. After the dissolution of Violet Fox, Rhoads taught his best friend Kelly Garni how to play bass, and together they formed a band called The Whore (rehearsing during the day at Rodney Bingenheimer's English Disco, a famous '70s Hollywood nightspot), spending several months playing at backyard parties around Los Angeles. Together the pair went on to form Quiet Riot when Rhoads was 16. Kevin DuBrow auditioned for vocalist in Rhoads' kitchen after he convinced Rhoads and Garni to give him a chance. The drummer, Drew Forsyth, was already in the picture and had periodically played with Rhoads and Garni in the past.
Quiet Riot initially played in small bars in Hollywood and local parties in Burbank, eventually playing at the two main L.A. music clubs of the day — the Whisky a Go Go, and The Starwood. While the band had a strong following in the L.A. club scene, they were unable to secure a major recording contract in the United States. Eventually, however, the band was able to land a record deal with Japanese label CBS/Sony Records and Quiet Riot and Quiet Riot II were released in Japan.
[edit] Career with Ozzy Osbourne
In 1979, ex-Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne was forming a new band. During an interview with Raw Power Magazine editors Robert Olshever, Murray Schwartz and Scott Stephens (future singer of Liquid Blue), Ozzy mentioned he was looking for a new guitar player. Randy's name was suggested during the interview and the next day Robert asked friend and future Slaughter bassist Dana Strum to try to reach Randy to see if he was interested. Rhoads got the call for the audition just before his final show with Quiet Riot. He walked in with his Les Paul guitar and a practice amp and started warming up; Osbourne immediately gave him the job. Rhoads recalled later, "I just tuned up and did some riffs, and he said, 'You've got the gig.' I had the weirdest feeling, because I thought, 'You didn't even hear me yet.'" Osbourne described Rhoads' playing as "God entering my life." Rhoads subsequently recommended his friend Greg Leon, who also taught guitar at Musonia for Rhoads' mother, to replace him in Quiet Riot, and then departed for the UK to write and record with Osbourne in November 1979.The band, then known as The Blizzard of Ozz headed into the studio to record the band's debut album, which would also be called Blizzard of Ozz. Rhoads' guitar playing had changed due to the level of freedom allowed by Ozzy and Bob Daisley and he was encouraged to play what he wanted. His work with Quiet Riot has been criticized as being "dull" and did not rely on classical scales or arrangements.[1] Propelled by Rhoads' neo-classical guitar work, the album proved an instant hit with rock fans, particularly in the USA. They released two singles from the album: "Mr. Crowley" and the hit "Crazy Train". The British tour of 1980-81 for Blizzard of Ozz was with Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake. After the UK tour, the band wrote another LP before the US Blizzard of Ozz tour. But before the US Blizzard tour, both Lee Kerslake and Bob Daisley were fired by Sharon Osbourne. For the US Blizzard tour, Tommy Aldridge and Rudy Sarzo were hired. Diary of a Madman was released soon after Blizzard of Ozz in October 1981, and since Kerslake and Daisley were already out of the band, Aldridge and Sarzo's photos appear on the album sleeve. This was the source of many future court battles. You Said it All and You Looking At Me, Looking At You would become rare gems with the first to be only released on a handful of singles. Tribute would be released years down the road.
Around this time Rhoads remarked to Osbourne, fellow Ozz bandmates Tommy Aldridge and Rudy Sarzo, and friend Kelly Garni that he was considering leaving rock for a few years to earn a degree in classical guitar at UCLA. In the documentary Don't Blame Me, Osbourne confirmed Randy's desire to earn the degree and stated that had he lived, he didn't believe Randy would have stayed in his band. Friend and ex-Quiet Riot bassist Kelly Garni has stated in interviews that if Randy had continued to play rock, he might have gone the route of more keyboard-driven rock, which had become very popular through the 1980s.
It was at this time that Rhoads was beginning to receive recognition for his playing. Just before his death Jackson Guitars created a signature model, the Jackson Randy Rhoads or Randy Rhoads Pro (though it was recommended to be called the Jackson Concorde). Randy received two prototypes — one in black and one in white — but died before the guitar went into production. Rhoads also received the Best New Talent award from Guitar Player magazine.
[edit] Death Rhoads' tomb, San Bernardino, CaliforniaRandy Rhoads' last show was played on Thursday, March 17, 1982 at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum in Knoxville, Tennessee. The next day, the band was headed to a festival in Orlando, Florida. After driving much of the night, they stopped on the property belonging to Jerry Calhoun, owner of "Florida Coach", in Leesburg, Florida. On it, there was a small airstrip lined with small helicopters and planes, and two houses. One belonged to the tour bus driver, Andrew Aycock, and the other was owned by Calhoun. Aycock talked the band's keyboardist, Don Airey, into taking a test flight in a '55 Beechcraft Bonanza F-35. By some accounts the manager, Jake Duncan, was also on this first flight. The joyride ended, and the plane landed safely. Then Aycock took Rhoads and hairdresser/seamstress Rachel Youngblood on another flight. Airey persuaded Rhoads to go on the second flight, despite his fear of flying. Rhoads apparently agreed to go for two reasons: the seamstress had a heart condition so Aycock agreed to do nothing risky; also, Rhoads wanted to take an aerial photo as one of his hobbies was photography. During the second flight, attempts were made to "buzz" the tour bus where the other band members were sleeping.[2] They succeeded twice, but the third attempt was botched. The left wing clipped the back side of the tour bus, tore the fiberglass roof then sent the plane spiraling. The plane severed the top of a pine tree and crashed into the garage of a nearby mansion, bursting into flames. Rhoads was killed instantly, as were Aycock, 36, and Youngblood, 58. All three bodies were burned beyond recognition, and were identified by dental records. It was later revealed in an autopsy that Aycock's system showed traces of cocaine at the time; Rhoads' toxicology test revealed only nicotine. The NTSB investigation also determined that Aycock's medical certificate had expired and that the biennial flight review, required for all pilots, was overdue.[3]
Rhoads' funeral was held at the First Lutheran Church in Burbank, CA. He is interred at Mountain View Cemetery in San Bernardino, California where his grandparents are also buried.
[edit] Equipment Rhoads used a relatively small setup, with few guitars and a small set of effects and amplifiers. He preferred .010-.011 strings.[4]

"Lady Gaga was saved from cocaine addiction by the thought of her dead aunt. The eccentric star has revealed her life spiraled into a world of heavy drug use in a bid to replicate the lifestyles of her musical idols.
The ‘Paparazzi’ singer would lock herself in her bedroom and snort “bags and bags” of cocaine for songwriting inspiration when she was starting out, but realized she was jeopardizing her life when she recalled her aunt Joanne who died at 19.
Gaga – real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta – said:
“I thought I was going to die. I wanted to be the artists I loved, like Mick Jagger and Andy Warhol, and I thought the only way to do it was to live the lifestyle. My cocaine soundtrack was always The Cure. I would lock myself in my room and listen to ‘Never Enough’ on repeat while I did bags and bags of cocaine.
“But then I realized my father’s sister Joanne, who died at 19, had instilled her spirit in me. She was a painter and a poet – and I had a spiritual vision I had to finish her business.”

"Bullet Points: Socialite and Pharmaceutical Exec Gigi Jordan Charged with Murdering Her Autistic Son
Gigi Jordan, a multi-million pharmaceutical executive, was found in her $2,300/night suite "babbling incoherently" after trying to commit suicide, while her eight year-old son lay dead next to her. She's being charged with feeding him an overdose of pills.
This story is, quite simply, one of the more insane, convoluted ones to come around in a while, especially with the conflicting nature of reports on Jordan. In just trying to suss out all the reports, it goes something like this:
* Gigi Jordan, a native Belgian, was the president of several New York-based pharmaceutical companies that manufactured drugs to treat cancer. None of the reports can seem to name the companies, though. After making her money in pharmaceuticals, Jordan got into the real estate game, making her fortune there. A New York Post source estimates Jordan's value to be "about $100M."
* In 2001, Jordan married Emil Valention Tzekov six days after divorcing the man she used to be married to, the pharmaceutical exec she made her fortune with, Raymond Mirra. Jordan gave birth to her son, Jude Michael, on July 13, 2001. It'd appear that the father of the son was Tzekov, who told the Daily News "That's my son...I don't know if I can talk about this."
* Tzekov's neighbors describe Jude Michael as "autistic" to the Daily News.
* Tzekov and Jordan got divorced in 2006.
* Tzekov told the Daily News he hadn't seen Jordan or his son in a year.
* On Wednesday, Jordan checked into Room 1603 at The Peninsula Hotel.
* According to hotel staffers, she hangs a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, paid the bill in cash, ordered lots of room service, and "didn't leave the room for two days."
* According to the New York Post, Jordan's aunt received an email from her threatening suicide and the murder of Jude. The aunt then contacted the 20th Precinct, faxing them the emails. The 20th moved into action, and figured Jordan was at The Peninsula.
* On showing up, police found the Do Not Disturb sign, and that Jordan had barricaded the door with either a couch or several chairs. On bursting down the door, they found Jordan lying on floor, foaming at the mouth and "babbling incoherently." Her son, who'd been dead for what's being estimated to be a day by police, was on the bed. Authorities believe Gigi Jordan fed Jude a lethal combination of Xanax and Ambien. Ambien's been known to have a harsh side-effect of suicidal thoughts in some patients.
* Sources noted to the Post that the room was littered with pill bottles and "thousands" of pills, along with "scattered documents — including a suicide note penned by Jordan."
* In the suicide note, she wrote that her son Jude was in "constant pain" and that she'd hoped "Jude [was in] a better place." She also "mentioned speaking with a Wyoming child porn investigator about the sexual abuse of kids," and cited the assistance of an ex-FBI agent. In an already bizarre and tragic case, this part sticks out:
Ex-FBI agent Flint Waters "told me many rich people are involved," Jordan wrote. "Many wealthy guys trade child porn like a hobby." Waters did not return a call Friday night.
* The Daily News also reports that Jordan wrote that she donated $20M to Haiti relief efforts before attempting suicide, putting $12M to Doctors Without Borders and $8M to the Red Cross, noting that the other $7M in her estate would "be used for some better purpose in society." Besides either organization now showing any record (though the News notes that this could be because she mailed the checks on Wednesday), this also conflicts with the New York Post's sourced $100M valuation of her estate.
* On the website of a "Fertility guru":
Jordan had said having her child has "helped awaken a spiritual connection to God." "In learning how to release my fear of losing something I really wanted and to allow myself to believe I would have it," she wrote, "I gave birth to a beautiful boy, and experienced a greater depth of love and connectedness with my child."
* Jordan's currently in the hospital right now, and she's going to be charged with the murder of her son. She's been cooperating with authorities, and gave them the password to her computer.
Now, just questions:
How did Gigi Jordan amass her fortune, and were these problems present before? Why'd she check into The Peninsula? How did nobody in Jordan's life see this coming? And most importantly, what part of Jordan's past as a pharmaceutical executive will be tied to her current state as an incoherent, filicidal new-ager? Because something will be.
If you know anything, we're listening."

BOSTON ¨C The death of the father of Olympic skater Nancy Kerrigan was ruled a homicide Tuesday when an autopsy showed he died of a heart rhythm problem after a fight with his son in which he suffered a neck injury so severe it damaged his windpipe.
The findings could prompt new charges against Kerrigan's brother, Mark, who has pleaded not guilty to assault and battery on a person over 60 and is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital.
Daniel Kerrigan, 70, died Jan. 24 after what authorities said was a struggle with his 45-year-old son, Mark.
Police say Mark Kerrigan told them he put his hands around his father's neck and his father fell to the floor after the two argued at their Stoneham home.
Family members had initially said Daniel Kerrigan had a heart attack and his death was unrelated to the argument.
The autopsy results released Tuesday by Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone said the elder Kerrigan also had underlying health conditions, including high blood pressure and clogged heart arteries.
"As a result of these conclusions of the medical examiner, the investigation into Daniel Kerrigan's death, and whether any charges in connection with his death are appropriate, remains ongoing," Leone said in a statement.
The findings imply a strangulation-type injury in a man already vulnerable to heart problems, said an expert not connected with the autopsy, Dr. Ian Paul, associate medical examiner for the state of New Mexico.
"The assault itself would have caused significant physiological stress," Paul said. "It would have put direct stress to the heart itself because the heart is working faster, and in somebody with underlying heart disease, they would be at a much greater risk of experiencing sudden cardiac death."
Leone said the medical examiner determined the cause of death was "cardiac dysrhythmia" after a physical altercation "with neck compression causing injury to the neck in the form of a cartilage fracture to the larynx area."
Cardiac dysrhythmia is loss or interruption of a normal heartbeat, which can lead to cardiac arrest and death.
Neither Nancy Kerrigan, nor her mother, Brenda Kerrigan, could immediately be reached for comment Tuesday. A spokeswoman said the family planned to issue a statement.
Denise Moore, an attorney who represented Mark Kerrigan at his arraignment, did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
Daniel Kerrigan was found unconscious on the floor of his home by police responding to an emergency call at 1:30 a.m. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Police said Mark Kerrigan appeared intoxicated when he was found on a couch in the basement of the home. He was "belligerent and combative" but coherent when questioned, police said.
"He stated that he wanted to use the phone and his father would not let him," the arresting officer wrote in a report. "He said he struggled with his father and put his hands around his father's neck and his father fell to the floor."
The officers said they saw blood near where Daniel Kerrigan had been treated by emergency workers and signs of a struggle, including three pictures that had apparently been knocked off a wall and a broken piece of the telephone.
Mark Kerrigan has a lengthy criminal record, with convictions dating to 1991, including drunken driving, assault and battery, domestic assaults, resisting arrest and violation of a restraining order.
In 2008, Kerrigan's parents sued him to recover $105,000 they had spent paying his mortgage at his Wilmington home, taking care of his dogs while he was in jail and paying for a lawyer who represented him on a 2006 assault conviction. A judge dismissed the lawsuit, saying there was no documentation of such an agreement.
He was released from county jail in November after serving time on an assault conviction.

Brittany Murphy's Husband Simon Monjack 'Surprised' By Coroner's Report
Monjack insists that Murphy was 'not that ill' on the day she died.
By Larry Carroll
Views19,651
On Thursday morning, Brittany Murphy's family, friends and fans got some degree of closure as they learned the reasons behind her shocking death on December 20. Now her husband is reacting to the coroner's belief that Murphy's death could have been prevented ¡ª and speaking out about the tragedy that left him "ridiculously upset."
"Everything [surprised me and Brittany's mom about the report]," screenwriter Simon Monjack told People magazine. "I expected [the cause of death] to be her heart."
Nearly eight weeks after her death, the Los Angeles County Coroner's office released the results of its investigation Thursday morning, ruling that the "Sin City" actress had died of pneumonia complicated by an iron deficiency, anemia and multiple drug intoxication. The death was ruled an accident.
Insisting that Murphy was "not that ill" the day she died, her husband told the magazine that everything seemed normal. "She wasn't coughing up. I've had pneumonia and coughed up handfuls of spittle. So yeah, everything surprised us, everything."
Commenting on the coroner's assertion that Murphy's death might have been avoided if she'd only gone to see a doctor, Monjack refused to speculate. "I don't know what he said so I don't want to comment on what I haven't seen," he explained, adding that as far as he was concerned it was "case closed" on his wife.
"As the coroner said," he explained, "there's no foul play."
Some have expressed a belief that Monjack himself should be investigated for Murphy's death, but the coroner quickly dismissed any such talk. "He was never considered a suspect," coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter told the magazine. "No one's criminally liable here, because this has been ruled an accident."

Artemis...I think you are correct in your statement about the Olympic Athlete....Not a medal contender, but someone to sacrifice to their fire god...
Opening ceremonies are always depicting some sort of pagan/occultic rituals.
