Sarah Goldberg, who has died suddenly and mysteriously at age 40, co-starred on 7th Heaven with this man, whose recent exposure has sent shock waves through Hollywood: www.entertainmentwise.com/news/159764/Stephen-Collins-Family-Fear-He-May-Commit-Suicide-Following-Molestation-AllegationsBY KAYLEIGH GILES ON OCTOBER 10, 2014 Stephen Collin's Family Fear He May Commit Suicide Following Molestation Allegations His family worry the 7th Heaven star might hurt himself Stephen Collins' world was turned upside down when a leaked audio clip allegedly heard the star admit to child molestation earlier this week. Now, the 7th Heaven star's family have expressed concern that the actor's life could be in danger. Collins, 67, is currently undergoing a divorce battle with actress Faye Grant, and confessed in therapy that he was a child molester on audio obtained by TMZ. In the clip he is only referred to as "Stephen". "His family by no means condone what he's said to have done, but it doesn't stop them worrying about him," a friend of the family told Mail Online. "They fear he could take his own life. That's how low he is right now. No one wants to leave him by himself." In the clip, the actor states that he exposed himself to young girls aged 11-13 and made them touch his genitals. Stephen's family reportedly fear he will take his own life (WENN) Grant recorded the former Rev. Camden's confessions. According to the site, her lawyer said she could use the audio as evidence of a violent felony, such as molesting a child under the age of 14. The 67-year-old was reportedly unaware he was being taped. The NYPD has stated there were at least three victims. "There is a formal complaint on file and incident is being investigated by the Manhattan Special Victims Squad," the DCPI stated to ET. The star was reported by the first victim, a relative of his first wife, in 2012 and could still be arrested because the statute of limitations runs from the date of the reporting. The actor has already been subject to suicide rumours after a neighbour, Donna D'errico, tweeted that the actor had taken his own life. She tweeted: "That guy from 7th Heaven lives just around the corner from me & just shot himself a few minutes ago..." However authorities have confirmed that Collins is still very much alive. "He's not dead. He's alive," Los Angeles Police told People. "He was not at home at the time of the alleged incident, and there's not evidence of any gunshot." From the New York Times:
7th Accuser Joins Claims of Assault by Bill Cosby
By GRAHAM BOWLEY and LORNE MANLY
NOVEMBER 20, 2014
A seventh woman has stepped forward publicly with allegations that the comedian and actor Bill Cosby sexually assaulted her decades ago.
In an interview on WPTV in West Palm Beach, Fla., the woman, Therese Serignese, 57, a registered nurse, accused Mr. Cosby of drugging and having sex with her after one of his shows at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1976 when she was 19.
Although Mr. Cosby’s lawyers have routinely characterized such allegations as unfounded, the drumbeat of similar accusations over the last few weeks has led Mr. Cosby to withdraw from television interviews and has cost him several business opportunities as companies have canceled projects.
Mr. Cosby has been all but silent on the matter. On Wednesday, The Associated Press released an interview it conducted with him on Nov. 6 in which he would not answer questions on camera about the allegations.
The interview was intended to promote an exhibition at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African Art, which features some works from Mr. Cosby’s collection, but when asked about the furor, he declined to comment.
After the interview, while still being filmed, Mr. Cosby asked that none of the video of his refusal to comment be shown.
“I would appreciate it if it was scuttled,” he said.
In her interview with the local TV station in Florida, Ms. Serignese said that after meeting Mr. Cosby in the hotel gift shop, he invited her to watch the show, and she was given a front-row seat. She said that while she was alone with Mr. Cosby at an after-party, he offered her three large pills and said she should take them. She said she felt that she could not object. She was then sexually assaulted, she said.
After that, she said, she stayed at a room in his penthouse suite for several weeks, but he made her leave when she told him she might be pregnant, which turned out to be a false alarm. They kept in touch, she said, and, later, when she got into financial difficulty, Mr. Cosby sent her money.
Mr. Cosby’s lawyer Martin D. Singer did not reply to a request for comment.
Mr. Cosby’s other lawyers have characterized the accusations that he drugged, raped or molested women decades ago as “decade-old, discredited allegations.”
Ms. Serignese also gave her account to People magazine and to The Huffington Post. She said she had not spoken out publicly years ago because at that time she was young and believed that, given the culture of the era, few would have listened.
“I did not want to be shamed, humiliated,” she said. But now, she said, she wants an apology.
She said she came forward anonymously in 2005 and was one of 13 “Jane Doe” witnesses who had said they were prepared to present similar accounts as part of a lawsuit filed by Andrea Constand, a woman who had met Mr. Cosby when she was a staff member with the basketball program at Temple University, Mr. Cosby’s alma mater. She said she had been drugged and molested by Mr. Cosby. Ms. Constand’s suit was settled in 2006, but the terms were not released.
By late Thursday, two additional women had come forward with stories about Mr. Cosby’s inappropriate sexual advances toward them, each occurring decades ago.
Mr. Singer issued a statement in response. “We’ve reached a point of absurdity,” he said. “The stories are getting more ridiculous.”
On Thursday, Temple University in Philadelphia said that Mr. Cosby would remain a trustee, a position he has held since 1982, according to The A. P.
As the allegations have swirled around Mr. Cosby in recent weeks, NBC, Netflix and a cable network have canceled projects with him. But he has not let up on his “Cosby 77” stand-up tour.
He was slated to go on stage Thursday evening at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. On Friday, he is scheduled to appear in Melbourne, Fla., at a sold-out show at the Maxwell C. King Center for Performing Arts. The center said in a statement that while it was aware of the claims, “we are only in a position to judge him based on his career as an entertainer and humanitarian.”
But on Thursday, the Desert Diamond Casino in Tucson canceled Mr. Cosby’s Feb. 15 show. The casino, in a statement, did not give a reason but said it regretted “any inconvenience to our guests.”

Ex-NBC Employee Claims He Helped Bill Cosby Pay Off Women
Variety By Alex Stedman 14 hours ago . Frank Scotti, a 90-year-old ex-NBC employee, is the latest to go public with stories of Bill Cosby’s past.
Scotti, who worked as a facilities manager for the Brooklyn NBC Studio where “Cosby Show” was filmed, told the New York Daily News that he arranged for monthly payments and more for eight women during “The Cosby Show’s” run from 1984-1992. He claimed some women would receive as much as $2,000 at a time.
“He had everybody fooled,” Scotti said to the Daily News. “Nobody suspected.”
Scotti provided copies of money orders to four women to the Daily News and said Cosby asked him to put his own name on them.
“He was covering himself by having my name on it,” he said. “It was a coverup. I realized it later.”
One woman, Shawn Thompson, reportedly received more than $100,000 after their alleged affair started in 1974. Thompson’s daughter, Autumn Jackson, has claimed Cosby is her father, which Cosby has denied.
One woman whose name is on the receipts reached out to the Daily News and said the payments funded her son’s private school tuition. Scotti is confident that he was sexually involved with the women receiving payments, and came forward now because he “felt sorry for the women.”
“Why else would he be sending money?” Scotti asked. “He was sending these women $2,000 a month. What else could I think?”
The story also includes a quote from Cosby’s attorney Martin Singer denying Scotti’s allegations.
“What evidence does he have of Mr. Cosby’s involvement?” Singer said. “How would Scotti know if a woman was a model or a secretary? It appears that his story is pure speculation so that he can get his 15 minutes of fame.”
NBC declined comment on the story.
Cosby now has claims against him from at least 15 women with varying charges of sexual assault. Since the allegations resurfaced, NBC has pulled a project with him, Netflix postponed a stand-up special it was going to stream and TV Land has stopped airing re-runs of “The Cosby Show.”

‘Walking Dead’ Actress Shannon Richardson Sentenced to 18 Years in Prison for Mailing Ricin Letters by Thomas Chau July 17, 2014 12:54 PM Leslie Morris, Getty Images Shannon Richardson, a 36-year-old actress from Texas, was given the maximum sentence of 18 years in jail under her plea deal on a charge of possessing and producing a biological toxin. She has also been ordered to pay $367,000 in restitution. CBS News reports that Richardson, who had minor roles on TV’s ‘The Walking Dead’ and the Sandra Bullock movie ‘The Blind Side,’ was arrested last June for sending letters with the deadly toxin ricin to President Obama and former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg. Richardson pleaded guilty last December. “I never intended for anybody to be hurt,” she told the court. “I’m not a bad person. I don’t have it in me to hurt anyone.” Richardson reportedly mailed the letters and then went to police to claim that her estranged husband, Nathan Richardson, was responsible for mailing them. However, inconsistencies with her story, as well as an investigation into her online purchases, led to Richardson’s arrest. The investigation revealed that she had made purchases for the materials required to make ricin online. She later confessed that she lied to authorities about her husband’s involvement. Tibrina Hobson via Getty Images Creed Singer Scott Stapp Threatened To Kill Obama, According To Wife's 911 Call [UPDATE]
Stephanie Marcus
The Huffington Post 12/12/14 01:34 PM ET
Creed frontman Scott Stapp was hospitalized and placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold last month after posting a video to Facebook in which he lamented his financial situation.
Stapp's wife of eight years, Jaclyn Stapp, had filed for divorce weeks earlier, claiming that the singer's drug use had left him a "paranoid shell who has threatened to kill himself and harm his family."
Recently, the singer allegedly told his wife that he is a CIA agent on a mission to assassinate President Barack Obama, prompting a call to 911. In a 40-minute recording, obtained by the TMZ, Jaclyn and her sister call for help to report that Stapp is "very ill":
Scott Stapp Threatens To Kill President Obama02:16
According to TMZ, Stapp told police that his estranged wife had stolen $6 million and, when he confronted her, she had retaliated by trying to have him committed. Police reportedly determined that the 41-year-old rocker did not show signs of mental instability to warrant another psychiatric hold.
Seemingly fixated on Obama, Stapp gave a recent interview in which he blamed the president for his current financial problems.
"In 2012 I was doing a promotional tour for my book 'Sinner's Creed' and went on Fox News and expressed a little concern and disappointment with President Obama. Within two months of that public statement, that's when the IRS began to freeze my accounts," Stapp said. "I believe that the IRS situation is definitely a result of me expressing my dissatisfaction with President Obama. Absolutely, 100 percent."
UPDATE: TMZ reports that Creed singer Scott Stapp has lost custody of his three children, after a Florida judge awarded sole legal and physical custody to his estranged wife.

Vanilla Ice has been released from custody in Florida after being arrested and charged with breaking into and stealing from an abandoned home.
Police in Lantana say the recording artist and home-improvement-show host, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, was renovating a home next to the victim's.
After the owners alerted authorities, police obtained a search warrant and, according to a Lantana police news release, recovered some of the items at Ice's home in Palm Beach County.

Vanilla Ice arrested for home burglary
The police department told media the theft is connected to the rapper's ongoing DIY Network TV show, The Vanilla Ice Project, in which he and a crew renovate and flip homes.
The 47-year-old, who rose to fame with the hit Ice Ice Baby, was charged Wednesday with burglary of a residence and grand theft and taken into custody.
Ice was released from the Palm Beach County jail Wednesday night on a $6,000 bond.
He told TV station WPTV as he left that the situation was a "misunderstanding" that's been "blown out of proportion."
"DIY Network has been made aware of this situation and is currently looking into the matter," network spokeswoman Lynne Davis told USA TODAY in a statement.
The items have been returned to their rightful owner.

www.cnn.com/2015/03/30/entertainment/feat-norman-greenbaum-spirit-sky-crash/(CNN)Norman Greenbaum, best known for his much-played 1969 hit "Spirit in the Sky," was in critical condition after a crash that killed a motorcycle driver Saturday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said. Greenbaum, 72, was in the front passenger seat in a 2002 Subaru Outback when the driver, Bonita Kay Perea, made a left turn onto a road near Santa Rosa, California. The right side of the car was hit by a motorcycle that was "evidently unable to slow or stop in time to avoid a collision with the Subaru," the highway patrol said in its report. The driver of the motorcycle, Ihab Usama Halaweh, was killed. His passenger, Nhmia Mekonnen Kahsay, was being treated for critical injuries, the CHP said. Greenbaum was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. His injuries were also considered critical at the time of the highway patrol report. On his Twitter page, Greenbaum describes himself as a "one-hit wonder," but what a hit: "Spirit in the Sky," with its distinctive fuzz-toned guitar, spacey effects and gospel-tinged harmonies, has been featured in more than 40 movies and TV shows, including "Apollo 13" and "Ocean's Eleven," according to the Internet Movie Database. It was used to score one of the trailers for last year's "Guardians of the Galaxy." "Because of 'Spirit in the Sky,' I don't have to work. So in that sense, it's a comfortable living," Greenbaum told The New York Times in 2006. He said he wrote the words in 15 minutes. The song, released in late 1969, hit No. 3 in the spring of 1970 and spent 15 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 pop chart. A 1980s cover version by Doctor and the Medics hit No. 1 in the UK, as did a 2003 version by the Kumars with Gareth Gates. Prior to going solo, Greenbaum was a member of Dr. West's Medicine Show and Junk Band, which had a minor hit with its 1966 song "The Eggplant That Ate Chicago." CNN's Tony Marco contributed to this story.

www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2015/04/02/joni-mitchell-still-in-hospital-fellow-performers-send-best-wishes/Joni Mitchell's famous fans are voicing their support and worry for the folk song icon while she is hospitalized in Los Angeles. "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson said Wednesday on Twitter: "heard about Joni and haven't been able to concentrate all morning. So hope she's doing ok." Kiss lead singer Paul Stanley tweeted a recent picture of himself and the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, telling his followers to send her love and prayers. Kevin Bacon tweeted that he was "sending good wishes today to one of the finest singing, song-writing, guitar playing artists in history." Boy George, Bill Idol and Tori Amos were also among the well-wishers. FOX NEWS HEALTH: What is Morgellons disease? Mitchell, 71, was found unconscious in her home Tuesday night and taken to a hospital by ambulance, according to her Twitter account and website. She was later in intensive care and undergoing tests. Her representatives did not immediately respond to phone and email messages and there was no further word on her condition Wednesday. Mitchell told Billboard magazine last year that she has a rare skin condition, Morgellons disease, which prevents her from performing. There is much debate about Morgellons disease and its origin, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which refers to it as unexplained dermopathy, struggling to categorize it. Sufferers complain of sensations of crawling bugs and fibrous material or solid objects embedded in the skin and non-healing lesions. Some patients report fatigue, memory loss and a substantial decline in quality of life. A 2012 report from the CDC which was published in PLoS ONE found that the condition is not contagious; eliminating the possibility that it has an infectious cause. A native Canadian who became part of Southern California's flourishing folk-rock scene in the 1960s, Mitchell has won eight Grammy Awards, including a lifetime achievement award in 2002. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. - The AP contributed to this report.

Sheen, 50, told NBC's "Today" TV show he was speaking out because he was being blackmailed, and to refute tabloid reports that he has AIDS and was spreading it to others. "I have to put a stop to this onslaught, this barrage of attacks and of subtruths and very harmful and mercurial stories," he said. "I am here to admit that I am in fact HIV positive," Sheen said, adding he was "not entirely sure" how he contracted the virus. Sheen acknowledged he had paid "upwards of $10 million" in recent years to "desperate charlatans" for their silence about his condition. The actor, who is three times divorced and has dated many porn stars, said it was "impossible" that he had transmitted the virus to anyone else. He said he "always led with condoms and honesty when it came to my condition." But former porn star Bree Olson, one of the "goddesses" who lived with Sheen for a year four years ago, said on Tuesday he had never informed her of his HIV status. "Never said anything. Ever. 'I'm clean,' he told me. 'I'm clean, I'm clean'," Olson told Howard Stern in a radio interview on Tuesday. Olson, who said she has since tested negative for HIV, made similar statements to entertainment TV show "Inside Edition." Sheen's spokesman declined to comment when asked about Olson's remarks. Sheen played the womanizing bachelor Charlie Harper on top-rated comedy "Two and A Half Men" for eight years before being fired in 2011 for bad behavior that included cocaine-fueled partying and assaulting an ex-wife. At the time, he was the highest paid actor on U.S, television, with a reported salary of some $1.8 million per episode. He said he informed his ex-wives, actresses Brooke Mueller and Denise Richards, immediately after getting his diagnosis. Mueller and Richards both issued statements saying neither they nor their four children with Sheen were HIV positive. Sheen's doctor, Robert Huizenga, said the actor "does not have AIDS," that he is taking antiretroviral drugs and that his viral HIV load was now "consistently undetectable." "ABYSMAL DESCENT" After being fired from "Two and A Half Men," Sheen set up home with Olson and another porn star and boasted of having "tiger blood" in his veins. It was around that time that Sheen was first diagnosed. Sheen said shame and disbelief over the diagnosis led to "an abysmal descent into profound substance abuse and fathomless drinking. It was a suicide run." The actor said he has now put his partying days behind him. Sheen, the son of "West Wing" TV actor Martin Sheen, said he doesn't feel any stigma from being HIV positive, a condition that affects more than 1.2 million people in the United States alone, according to government statistics. HIV, or human immunodeficiency virus, weakens the immune system. No cure exists, but with medical care it can be controlled. If not, one can develop AIDS. Reaction to Sheen's announcement was largely compassionate, and his name quickly became the top trending topic on Twitter. "Total respect to @charliesheen opening up about his HIV positive status, may your strength be repaid and know people really do care!" tweeted Brett Herriot. Another Twitter posting, from Howarse7, said, "I don't condone Charlie Sheen's recklessness but the headlines and jokes about it show just how little society has progressed. It's sad." Sheen also starred in 1980s movies "Platoon" and "Wall Street," as well as TV comedies "Spin City" and "Anger Management." The note, posted Sunday morning, alleges "appalling cruelty" on the part of her husband, her children and even her son's girlfriend -- and she says it all started when she had a hysterectomy in August. Sinead claims they've been keeping her babies from her, and she just couldn't take it anymore. The 48-year-old singer wrote, "I have taken an overdose. There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home. I'm at a hotel, somewhere in Ireland, under another name." She adds she's been, "Howling crying for weeks. And been told by them all to go f*** myself. I'm invisible. I don't matter a shred to anyone." Sinead has four children, ranging in age from 9 to 28. She's currently married to Barry Herridge -- the therapist she married in Las Vegas after meeting on the Internet. It's unclear if family or friends have begun searching for Sinead. We've reached out to her reps, but no word back yet. Read more: www.tmz.com/2015/11/29/sinead-oconnor-suicide-note/#ixzz3t1WTco4sSinead has four children, ranging in age from 9 to 28. Celebrity investigator hired in death of Hollywood assistant
Oct 27th 2015 1:29PM
The family of a Hollywood producer's assistant who died during Jennifer Aniston's honeymoon in August has hired a celebrity pathologist to investigate the death.
Carmel Musgrove's family hired Michael Baden, who most recently worked for Michael Brown's family after the teen was killed by officer Darren Wilson.
Officials in Bora Bora, where the 28-year-old died, say she likely drowned while swimming alone, but Baden's involvement shows the family isn't satisfied with that explanation.
Musgrove was reportedly in Bora Bora with Joel Silver, for whom she worked, along with a handful of celebrities who were celebrating Aniston's honeymoon.
Silver is a producer whose work includes the "Matrix" movies and the "Sherlock Holmes" franchise, the last of which Musgrove helped him with.
