She's such a maggot. I really can't stand her...though I'm not sure which "life" is being shown now, compared to the one at the time of this incident.

"Mindy McCready Committed to Treatment Facility, Mental-Health Evaluation, Source Says
Mindy McCready is getting the help her family thinks she needs tonight.
After her two children were removed from her care by family services today, a judge ordered that the country singer be committed to a to a treatment facility for a mental-health and alcohol-abuse evaluation, sources exclusively confirm to E! News.
"Family members sought to have Mindy committed to a mental-health facility and there was an emergency hearing today," says a source. "They just got out of court a little while ago and the judge committed her for up to 21 days."
According to a second source, McCready admitted during the hearing that she had "indulged in too much alcohol because she was still mourning David's passing."
"David's death has truly been a struggle for her," the insider added.
The singer's boyfriend, David Wilson, died of what was reported to police as a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Jan. 13. McCready denied in an interview with NBC News that she had anything to do with his death.
Meanwhile, the investigation into Wilson's death remains open while authorities await autopsy results.
E! News was first to report that the Department of Human Services had removed sons Zander, 6, and Zayne, 9 months, from McCready's Arkansas home earlier today, a source telling us, "Mindy needs to get help and we all care and love her and we want her to get the right help so she can move on."

" 'Boondock Saints' producer Chris Brinker dies suddenly from aortic aneurysm
Forty-two-year-old producer and director Chris Brinker died suddenly Friday morning, EW confirmed. According to a report, Brinker began experiencing chest pains late Thursday night. Doctors were unable to treat the extensive damage from the aortic aneurysm.
Producer Lloyd Segan, who was working with Brinker on his next project Baby Proof, told EW “He was a dear friend of a whole lot of people including me. It’s very tough. I want people to know what an amazing person he was and an inspiration too. I’ve known him since he was in college, since he was an intern for me. So it’s a long time. He’s a phenomenal human being. He was an extraordinary man in every single way.â€
Brinker’s directorial debut Whiskey Bay, with Matt Dillon and Williem Dafoe, is currently in post-production, but he is perhaps best-known for producing The Boondock Saints and its sequel. Segan, who also served as a producer on both films, called Brinker and Troy Duffy “the heart and soul of the Boondock Saints franchise. It was Chris who really pushed — every way believing in that movie. I would not have been involved in that film at all but for him.â€

"Amanda Bynes’ Bizarre Behavior – Doors Wide Open, Red Lightbulbs, Laughing At Herself
Amanda Bynes is getting more bizarre by the moment and neighbors who lived by the child-star-turned-wild-child in New York City are spilling on her extremely weird behavior, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
Neighbors tell Page Six that Amanda had an open door policy — literally.
“Her door was left open all the time,” the source said.
“And we saw that she put red [lightbulbs] in every outlet.”
The former neighbor went on to say that one time Amanda went down to the apartment lobby “at 2 a.m. one morning, laughing hysterically for four minutes” and then “went back to her apartment.”
After moving out of Los Angeles to escape her mounting legal woes that included a DUI, numerous hit-and-runs, and two incidents of driving on a suspended license, the 26-year-old has already left her NYC apartment because she was threatening to be evicted and is reportedly living in a hotel.
“She was really nice at first,” the neighbor said.
“She knocked on some doors and introduced herself and wanted to hang out, but then she started acting weird.”

"Mark Kamins Dead: DJ-Producer Who Dated And Discovered Madonna Dies At 57
DJ and producer Mark Kamins, who discovered Madonna before she signed a record deal, has died. He was 57.
A source close to Kamins confirmed his death to Billboard. According to reports, he suffered a "massive coronary†in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he has been teaching. Kamins had allegedly been struggling with heart problems for the past few months.
Kamins took Madonna under his wing in 1982, passing her demo on to Sire Records executive Seymour Stein, who quickly signed her. The rest, of course, is now pop music history. Kamins, who also produced her single “Everybody," was also the first in a line of high-profile Madonna romances.
In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Madonna says:
"I'm very sorry to hear about Marks death. I haven't seen him for years but if it weren't for him, I might not have had a singing career. He was the first DJ to play my demos before I had a record deal. He believed in me before anyone else did. I owe him a lot. May he Rest in Peace."
Kamins is survived by his son."

"Mindy McCready Dead Of An Apparent Suicide
Troubled country singer Mindy McCready, age 37, has died of an apparent suicide, the result of a single self-inflicted gunshot, the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office has confirmed. According to E! News, McCready shot herself and her dog. The Associated Press reports that her body was found 4pm Sunday on the front porch of her home in Heber Springs, Arkansas, after neighbors heard gunshots and called the police.
McCready leaves behind two children, 6-year-old Zander and 9-month-old Zayne. Her death comes just a little more than a month after the death of her boyfriend, songwriter David Wilson, age 34. Wilson's death is still under investigation.
McCready's tragic death follows a recent commitment to rehab and her children being removed from her home. A petition filed by McCready’s father this year revealed serious issues in the singer’s life, including alcohol and prescription drug abuse, as well as erratic behavior. According to a report from E!, who exclusively obtained the file, Tim McCready attested that his daughter had taken to her bed since the death of her boyfriend last month. “Sleeps all day,” he reported. “Drinks all night and is taking Rx drugs.”
Furthermore, McCready’s dad detailed that his daughter was refusing to bathe, was not taking care of her two young sons, and was acting violently. “Screams about everything,” he recorded. “Trying to hit father. Is not making any sense of any conversations with anyone.” The elder McCready also noted that Mindy was “very verbally abusive” to her older son.
The judge in the case responded to this by ordering admission to an inpatient facility for up to three weeks, stating: “There is cause to find there is clear and convincing evidence that Respondent is in imminent danger of harm to herself or others, suicidal or gravely disabled." E! additionally reported that Tim McCready’s former son-in-law, Billy McKnight--who is Zander’s father--filed motions in family court a week ago seeking detailed investigation into Mindy’s ability to care for their son. Both of Mindy's children were subsequently taken into custody by state family services.
Interestingly, E! reports that Mindy's father had been staying with her at her Arkansas home until Sunday morning, the day of her death. When he left, "she was in good spirits and seemed to be fine," a source told E! News."

"Mindy McCready Is The Fifth Victim Of The ‘Celebrity Rehab’ Curse
Let me preface this article by stating that I think Dr. Drew Pinsky--the addiction medicine specialist behind "Loveline," "Lifechangers," and most notably VH1's "Celebrity Rehab" and its spinoff shows, "Sex Rehab" and "Sober House"--does some fine work. Many celebrities that he has treated, like Mackenzie Phillips and "American Idol's" Nikki McKibbin, not to mention countless non-celebs, have been greatly helped by the good doctor. But Dr. Drew is not a miracle worker, and a (somewhat exploitative) reality show about addiction treatment is certainly no instant cure-all. And never has this been more apparent than it is now, in light of the suicide of troubled country singer Mindy McCready. Mindy, a veteran of "Celebrity Rehab" Season 3 who famously suffered an on-camera seizure when she was on the show, is the fifth "Rehab" alum to die in just the past two years.
The first "Celebrity Rehab" casualty was Mindy's Season 3 castmate, former Alice In Chains bassist Mike Starr (who also starred on "Sober House"); he died of a prescription drug overdose in March 2011. Not long before his death, it seemed like he'd finally turned his life around when he guested on the finale of "Celebrity Rehab 4" to give that cast's members a pep talk; Dr. Drew couldn't get over how much the seemingly cleaned-up Mike had transformed, and it looked like Mike might be one of the lucky ones, an addict who finally beats the odds. But it wasn't long before Mike was busted for felony possession of a controlled substance (six Xanax pills and six Opana pills), and he later met a tragic end. He was 46 years old.
Only two months after Mike's death, actor Jeff Conaway, who participated on "Rehab's" first and second seasons seeking treatment for painkiller addiction, died after he aspirated medications into his lungs and developed pneumonia. He was 60 years old. A year later, in June 2012, police brutality victim Rodney King, who starred on Season 2 and stayed sober for more than a year afterwards, drowned in his swimming pool after mixing alcohol and marijuana and going into cardiac arrest. He was 47. And then, two months after Rodney's death, Joey Kovar, a "Real World" star who signed up for "Celebrity Rehab 3" to receive treatment for his addictions to alcohol, various illegal substances, and steroids, died from opiate intoxication. He was 29.
Add to this tragic tally Warrant frontman Jani Lane. Jani didn't appear on "Celebrity Rehab" per se, but he received similar addiction treatment on another celebrity-improvement VH1 show, "Celebrity Fit Club," after it became clear that excessive drinking, not just the usual over-eating and under-exercising, was the real cause for his declining health. Jani appeared clean and sober, and much slimmer, by the season finale of "Fit Club" in 2005, but he died six years later from acute alcohol poisoning. He was 47.
And now there is the sad statistic of Mindy McCready—the fifth "Celebrity Rehab" death, third "Celebrity Rehab" Season 3 death, and sixth VH1-star death in just two years. She was only 37 years old, and she leaves two young children behind. Dr. Drew released a statement Sunday evening via Buzzfeed, saying:
"I am deeply saddened by this awful news. My heart goes out to Mindy's family and children. She is a lovely woman who will be missed by many. Although I have not treated her for few years, I had reached out to her recently upon hearing about the apparent suicide of her boyfriend and father of her younger children. She was devastated. Although she was fearful of stigma and ridicule she agreed with me that she needed to make her health and safety a priority. Unfortunately it seems that Mindy did not sustain her treatment.
"Mental health issues can be life threatening and need to be treated with the same intensity and resources as any other dangerous potentially life threatening medical condition. Treatment is effective. If someone you know is suffering please be sure he or she gets help and maintains treatment."
Surely by now, Dr. Drew—and VH1's viewers—must realize that shows like "Celebrity Rehab" don't always have a happy ending. And that definitely brings new meaning to the term "reality television."

I find it terribly odd that she killed herself with a gun in her head. This is not typical of women to end their lives in such a bloody way. Usually pills, or some other such "quiet" manner. Not saying that women are beyond taking a gun to their heads, but something is odd to me.
It was disturbing that she left a 7 year old and a 10 month old son. who are now in the hands of "Foster" care...which is an oxymoron....all too often this avenue is not always the best route for the children.
