I've never run across reading about MK slaves committing suicide or attempting to.
Usually when a slave reaches the end of the road, in the eyes of their handlers, they are sacrificed. So I'm thinking it's a set up to make it look like it was a suicide that failed. Which doesn't seem to make sense. But we're not talking about normal people with reasonable thinking.
These people will stage fake events, maybe even a threat to the slave to keep in line. If Mel is a slave, he's lived beyond the time that most slaves do get to live.
Most are done by 30. Unless he's used for breeding purposes, and then maybe kept alive for that bloodline.

Per Fritz's books suicide triggers are a standard part of the mind control programming. This is so they can be eliminated at any time if need be. Many are programmed to automatically kill themselves if they decide to talk or if they think they have revealed something. The "silence" thing is an early and standard part of their programming.
BTW, I have a theory that simply telling an MK slave that you know they are part of the illumunati cult (or words to that effect) and then telling them you know this because they told you will likely be the last you'll ever see of that person. Even if they really told you nothing.

It is, in my opinion, an "evil" twin. If one of them dies or just wants to lay low, retire, and stay out of the public eye, the other will take over their duties. All or most of the major stars have twins (Frank Sinatra, Sylvester Stallone, John Travolta, Tom Hanks to name a few). That could account for the change in personality and appearance. Also, one twin always has a more square, angular bone structure (the current Mel). The other has a more oval, oblong face (early Mel). The question is: when did the first Mel disappear and what happened?

Yes, 2004 (but MEL was replaced well before that).
