Keith Richard(s) was replaced between 1978-1979. The quality of the replacement is just ridiculous

Agree but no need to add the years when the replacement was done to the name of the thread. Its ridiculous. How can u tell he wasnt replaced earlier? Im sure he was, this is the "rule".... The 78-79 one is probably, just probably, 3rd or even 4th replacement....

Keith may have been replaced before 1978 but this was the most obvious and least talented Richards replacement IMO."Some Girls",the last album made with the"Keith"on the left was the last really good album the Stones made. And the song"Before They Make Me Run"was saying goodbye.

pentothal, are you sure about the dates of these two photographs? Keith Richard(s) was replaced between 1978-1979. The quality of the replacement is just ridiculous

FEITH in the leather jacket pic was indeed taken in 1978 by the famous photographer HELMUT NEWTON. The other one sadly I dont know....

REferring back to the side by side pics, the pic on the left was probably more likely around 70-72, IMHO. Though I was not into their music at the time of the late 70's, the one with the white T-shirt has the straight nose, and I'm thinking he was the second replacement. I need to see the vintage stones, but I'm thinking quite possibly that Keith could have been replaced at the time, or shortly after Brian Jones' death.
The style changed drastically about 69-70. Now does this come at the age of the paradigm shift as the end of the Beatle era in music...the Stones' morphed into a "glam rock" phase...and that was rather pitiful, because we didn't really need a glammed up Stones. The Mick Taylor era was rather lame IMHO.
That being said, when the styles change in such a distinct way that it doesn't resemble much of the earlier work, it tells me there was a change. Like From Paul to Bill, John to Fake Lennon.

Look at those profiles, not only of the nose, but the difference in the chin and jawlines.
The straight nosed Feith wasn't as grotesque as the one with the bump on the nose and the receding chinline.

By nose I often mean the profile too, its understood. True, the straight-nosed dude looked more human than the mutant that followed afterwards. Stay tuned, Im working on that....

I did a google on photos of Keith and actually saw some very, very young, like the early 60's and he was with the real Mick Jagger.
Don't know about childhood pics of Keith, and if he was replaced even before fame, and switched out in the late 60's and again in the 70's.
One strange note, I looked at the side by side pics at the start of this thread, and the guy on the right reminded me of Peter Wolf from J. Geils Band. Don't know why, just a strange reminder to him.
While many people may question the idea of "reptillian shapeshifter", seeing pics of Feith Richards as of the past decade, one may support the notion of him being reptillian....
Artemis, if your eyes can stand looking at alot of pictures of Keith Richards over any length of time. I know from looking at them last night on google, I was beginning to get a headache after looking at him so long...eeeks.

Exactly same thing I did last nite too, lucy. I found no pics from before 1963, before Rolling Stones, except for 3 of them but u can hardly tell if that was the real thing or not. From what I gathered, KEITH was replaced rite after his debut with the Stones, in the same year. Sad but true. Well, maybe others wont share this opinion, maybe Im wrong, but its sad nonetheless.

Mick had been replaced shortly after they were famous. The lips alone are a big clue. The real Mick had full lips, Fick as we see him today hardly has any lip at all....
