^ True. But, he did win the Academy's Thalberg Award for lifetime achievement which is technically an Academy Award, but not an "Oscar." He was also nominated for Oscars a number of times, in one case losing to John Ford.
I suspect Hitchcock's bad luck with Oscars was at least partly due to his not being an American.

Wondered the same thing regarding Peter O Toole's nominated 8 times and never won. Yet Tom Skanks, Sean Penn win two each...
Go figure!

Fary is scarey.
I remember first seeing Mary in a short lived comedy called ER, Elliot Gould was on as well as a very young George Clooney. I remember seeing it for a brief time on Lifetime years ago. Never seen or heard about it since.
Wow, that's really different from those later pics. Eeeks.

Mary (c. 2001):Fary (c. 2008):The change seems to have happened around 2003-04 Good catch sherlok. You can really tell the difference in the jaw in these 2 videos. No way the same person. Btw, have you ever worked with Mary or Fary?

Good catch sherlok. You can really tell the difference in the jaw in these 2 videos. No way the same person. Btw, have you ever worked with Mary or Fary? Nope, never. I worked on "ER" but it was before she arrived on the show. I was flipping around the TV dial the other evening and landed on "The Closer" and thought Kyra Sedgwick looked odd. I was watching her when Fary appeared on the show looking rather creepy and I could tell immediately that it wasn't her so I looked into it further. Yes, I thought so too when I saw her on "The Closer." It was a bit startling actually.

Yes, Hitchcock is another revered "god" in Hollyweird. Everyone needs to watch Marnie by Alfred Hitchcock. It is an outright example of a mind controlled slave and her alters etc. Its about a woman who gets married but has phobias aroud sexuality. Interestingly, Tippi Hedren is the star she is Melanie Griffith's mother in real life. Also interesting is that Marnie marries into a wealthy Scottish family, in the film. Hitchcock directed Tippi by traumatizing her. For example, she was afraid of heights, so he made her ride a ferris wheel before shooting her in a scene. He also gave Melanie a tiny coffin for a present... Another movie that shows the Monarch upbringing is Repulsion by Roman Polanski. They never come out and say it, but these movies demonstrate generational mind control and abuse.
