Below track made in 1979 when (early) Madonna was in a band called "The Breakfast Club," the title of a John CIA Hughes movie made six or seven years later about troubled High Schoolers. She (the real Madonna?) was punk/new wave at the time, sort of an experimental cross between Patti Smith and Blondie. Nothing like the later, famous Madonna/Fadonna. My question is, was this track ("S--- on the Ground" or "Safe Neighborhood" )artificially sped up to the version that we here in this youtube, to make Madonna's sound voice higher in pitch to get closer to the 1980s Fadonna(s) songs? There 's a version of S--- on the Ground on MP3 on the web that sounds much slower and lower in pitch, the voice matching the other early Madonna recording with Emmy and Breakfast Club 1979-81. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaefUXo6pQ8---------------------------- More on this song below. Who the hell are OTTO VON WERNHERR and MIA MIND studios? They both sound ominous. "Safe Neighborhood", under the erroneous song title of "On The Ground", first surfaced on a 1992 picture disc release in Europe on Receiver Records accompanied by two other songs supposedly from the same sessions: "Shine A Light" and "Little Boy" (actually titled "Little Boy Lost"). These songs were actually licensed from Mia Mind Music, a New York based record label/indie promotions business previously responsible for licensing out the horrible Otto von Wernherr songs that Madonna had sang backup on in her pre-fame days. While it is unclear what the exact arrangement was, it appears likely that Madonna had an agreement with the Mia Mind studio owner that allowed her to record some of her own material in exchange for performing background vocals on other studio clients recordings, thus also explaining the Otto von Wernherr connection. Therefore, most likely these recordings are in fact, the earliest professional solo recordings by Madonna heard to this day and were probably recorded sometime in 1980. Further comments on JASON/FASON LEWIS:
"He looks different in Sex and the City: the Movie compared to the series... I'm convinced it's not age. It looks like he has gotten plastic surgery on his chin and cheeks and it looks awful! Anyone else who noticed it?"
"His face looks really stretched. His eyes are so lifted they look as if they can't close. Too bad, because he was naturally hot. A little bit of wrinkles are hot on guys. Why mess with perfection?"
"He has aged a good 10+ years since the SATC series ended in 2004 (based on having seen him in 2008 movie) ... he has also lost a lot of muscle tone in those 4 years."
"I was thinking the exact same thing!!! It was only 4 years! Did he maybe get plastic surgery or something? His face looked so different - his skin looked aged. Also, his hair was TERRIBLE so I dont think that helped .. He looked so much better with a shaved head!"
"Yes, and he has lost a fair amount of muscle tone in his core. Even Sarah Jessica Parker lost muscle tone in the last 4 years since the show ended. Both need to hire new personal trainers. "
"Yeeah I think hes ugly now of you compare to when he first was is SATC."
"Honestly, I thought it was a different actor when I was watching the movie. I had to look him up on Wikipedia to make sure. He definitely has aged A LOT in four years."
"Did he have plastic surgery recently? looks like he did something to his face?"
"Actually I've been watching him on brothers and sisters, and it looks like he needs to do something face-wise. It looks like he's aged 15 years since sex and the city. I was watching the reruns from like 3 years ago and he looked so youthful and fresh faced maybe 21 or 22, and on brothers and sisters he looks wrinkled and leathery (maybe too much sun recently) and just a LOT older than even a couple of years ago, closer to his real age I guess. But it just happened so fast! He looked 21 three years ago and close to 40 now, bizaar. Maybe it's just on brothers and sisters; their lighting/makeup or something, but I was watching and just like 'what happened'? I need to see him in something else though before I fully judge."
"I don't know how he has but I prefered his look in SATC. "
"I think he's beginning to look too fake thesedays. Maybe he's been working out too much but he just looks kinda...cold."
