Courteney Cox has made no secret about her struggles to conceive daughter Coco.
Now, at 45, she says she's "revving up" to have her second.
"We're not trying yet. We're revving up the engines," she told OK magazine. "I'm only ready 'cause time's a-ticking. If I was 34, I'd wait another year, because I like those three-to-four gaps. I want Coco to be helping me with the next one. One child is hard. Two is probably harder."
Cox, who conceived Coco through in vitro fertilization or IVF, when she was 39, will most likely find it more difficult her second go-round.
"Forty-five is considered the dividing line," Los Angeles fertility specialist Dr. Richard Paulson told ABCNews.com.
Paulson said women 45 and older have a 5 percent chance of getting pregnant without any assistance -- and most likely they will require an egg donor.
IVF using donated eggs runs between $20,000 and $25,000, Paulson said. And if a surrogate is required, such as in the case of 44-year-old Sarah Jessica Parker, the cost can easily go up to $100,000, he said.
Forget about health insurance picking up the tab. Many policies won't cover IVF, egg donors or surrogacy.
But the financial costs are less of a concern to the rich and famous, who like Cox and Parker are willing to go to great lengths to have a child in their 40s and beyond.
Sarah Jessica Parker turned to a surrogate to have her twins.
"I don't like to say that these are the lengths that people go to, rather in 2009, it is good to know these options exist," said Paulson, director of the fertility program at the University of Southern California.
Apparently, Cox agrees.
"In vitro is a wonderful thing that people can do in this day and age, and I'm lucky enough to be able to afford it," Cox told Good Housekeeping.

Courteney Cox Puts Cougar Town on Hold For Family Emergency
"Courteney Cox has been doing a bang-up job on her show Cougar Town from what I’ve heard, but today the news was released that the former Friends star needs to take a break from filming to tend to some private business.
A rep from ABC said today, “We can confirm production on Cougar Town has been temporarily shut down in order for Courteney to deal with a private family matter.”

So, is the consensus that she died of anorexia or was simply allowed to retire in order to recover?
Which of the Arquettes is believed to have replaced her?

She was replaced twice. The first one, the original one, was gorgeous. She was on Family Ties and appeared in Ace Ventura.
The second one was on Friends for the first four seasons, then replaced by the current one for the remaining six seasons.

Yep, she looks like a rodent, kind of Jennifer Garner-esque.
It's mind-boggling, really. How do they keep track of the fakes? Numbered hats like Vlad Spitt?
Hellyweird is just another extension of the Royal Genome Project/CIA/Intelligence/clone/mind control/Illuminati slave project.

Original Courteney or cloned double? If that is a clone, then its a damm good one because I cant make the difference for sh*t. Until proved its indeed a clone, I still believe its the original in all the pics u and I have just posted. In her 1st serious (although the series was a flop) brush with the acting, MISFITS OF SCIENCE (Having an F/OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN vibe here)

I agree. She doesn't look like a clone. But in the above pic there seems to be a strange programming stare in the eyes, especially her right eye.

In her 1st serious (although the series was a flop) brush with the acting, MISFITS OF SCIENCE (Having an F/OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN vibe here) Okay, in the second photo here I see a quirky uptilt or upward tilt to her nose which is not present in any of the other photos. I think this particular quirk would be noticeable in the poses she is assuming in the other photos. What do you think? Look closely at the point of the nose and how it points upward and to one side in that second pic. We dont' see this in the other photos and unless I'm mistaken, i don't think you can just do away with a quirk like that unless you have other things shaved on the nose, which I don't see in her nose.
