Charlie Sheen on His Health, Love Life and Career Charlie Sheen has a new gig. Sheen, who recently revealed he was HIV positive, is helping LELO unveil its new condom line and opening up about why safe sex important. The actor sat down with “Extra’s” AJ Calloway, also giving him an update on his health, his current love life, and career. Charlie told AJ he feels great, thanks to taking part in an FDA trial study for a drug called PRO 140, “I’m one of the guinea pigs, I just finished week eight, and as opposed to a daily cocktail of a combination of pills that have a lot of nasty side effects, this is one shot every week… I don’t have the migraines, the stomach problems… I seriously believe this is the future of treatment for HIV.” The 50-year-old is looking good and taking good care of himself, “Exercise, diet… don’t go on benders anymore, don’t drink as much.” He says it was not just the diagnosis that helped him make the life change. “It was the combination of a lot of the self-loathing a lot of the shame behind it that I just wanted to keep myself divorced from reality… I just woke up one day and said, ‘I deserve better.’” extratv.com/2016/06/13/charlie-sheen-on-his-health-love-life-and-career/ |
