It's been so long since I've seen the real Bob Dylan...and Cher... I think that the real Bob Dylan (Robert Zimmerman) had been disposed of very early: by 1962 or 1963. Its been Fylans ever since, a la the smirking clue movie "He's Not There".... |

I remember the music when I was a kid, my oldest brother played the records of the real Dylan, the acoustic Dylan.
I remember hearing "Lay,Lady Lay" on the radio and they said it was Bob Dylan and I thought to myself, "Since when did he sound like that?" Also another song on the radio "Knocking On Heaven's Door" and said, "That ain't him." I believe the Fylan at that period sounded like he had crap in his mouth when he sang.
Not that the real Dylan was a virtuoso, but there was that something he had. And the early works were so incredible. Nothing since was really that important and did not leave an impact.

Try ur luck then. Others tried too. Having a different pov makes u think I need to ne knocked down a peg or two? interesting way of thinking. So far so good with the freedom of expression... I must go with the flow and if I dont, what happens? As I said, keep trying.
