I was channel surfing earlier and on the PBS station they were playing old clips from the 1960's variety show "Laugh in" and they showed clips of Cher, the Cher of the late 60's had a heart shaped face. The one now has a long, thin face with those fake cheeks...looks tranny.
That one pic does look like a card...the duality and death...makes you wonder if there were two Fhers during that period....

Last night I saw a little of the new documentary about Chaz/Chastity Bono and his/her transition into becoming a man. As part of it they showed one of the Fhers on David Letterman talking about Chaz and it continually strikes me how really bizarre this current Fher is. Why the wigs, for instance, when the original Cherilyn had such luscious, long hair? Why the extreme plastic surgery, to the extent that she looks worse than a BAD transvestite version of herself? Fher made a few comments about Sonny Bono and what he might have thought about Chastity becoming Chaz - and it all seemed so inauthentic and fake, like an actor trying to say appropriate things about somebody she'd never met. Interestingly enough, most of the film focused on Chaz having a really great relationship with her half-siblings through her dad, Sonny, a brother and sister with whom she is very close. No mention of Elijah, her other brother, anywhere in the feature. And very strange facial responses and body language from Chaz whenever Cher was mentioned - I mean, this is her "mom," right?  Extremely uncomfortable body language,, which would make sense if Cher has been a succession of Fhers and emotionally distant and weird because she's not the same person from year to year! Also, they showed some early footage of Chastity when she briefly tried to be a singer/musician, and you know, she was really quite pretty and feminine and talented. And then this "Chaz" is talking about how he/she never felt like that time in her life meant anything (de-emphasizing it, perhaps, because she is the new replacement now?) and talking about how "hard" it was to try to dress up and be feminine when that wasn't really her......and yet the Chastity in that music video footage and a subsequent interview Chastity did at that time with her then-girlfriend and music partner was definitely a different person. Today's Chaz, I'm afraid, seems very unhappy and freakish - not just because she has to take so many hormones to maintain her new "maleness," not just because she had her breasts hacked off as part of the transgender surgery -- but because she seems like a replacement who hasn't yet become POLISHED yet. She is obviously being positioned to be a huge spokesperson for the transgendered movement but doensn't have any of the emotional authenticity of other transgendered people i"ve known and seen. |

Ive mentioned CHAZ here and I honestly cant make my mind up if she was replaced or not. Yet I compared pics of her all over the years and to me she's always been the same person. IMO she was heavily abused and of course, brainwashed... Yes, I was also surprised to notice how beautiful - she used to look kinda like Laura Dern - and talented she was and no trace of the die-hard tranny she has become now.

I don't know...I'm thinking Chasity/Chaz is soooo a replacement too. Let's see how many more Chaz pop up over the years, like F/Cher! I don't think it's Doppelganger Disease <G> but almost every friggin' person, celebrity or political, seems to be interchangable/replaced/cloned/whatever! Seriously, have you seen pics of him lately? He's had a metamorphosis of his own.... This is one serious hot mess...and it's not the real Cher, that's for sure! Good grief. I caught her on some preview of something on Turner Classic movies and she's discussing "films" with Robert Osborne, and the pathetic and incredibly stupid comments coming from "it"...seriously, you want a celeb to talk about films...what happened to her brain? Of course, I don't think she was ever considered an intelligent person...I think she was once accredited for thinking that Mt Rushmore was a natural rock formation..... Why not have her give political comments on one of those discussion programs???  Seriously, I have to question why certain "celebs" are used for things that require the use of a brain... |

I was thinking about "Sonny and Cher" as a couple...and was wondering if Sonny had been her "handler". There had been questions as to how far back when she was replaced and I'm thinking Sonny could have been a low level handler and was used to mold the image that was to become the glamourous icon of the 70's and beyond.
If memory serves me correctly, I think that Sonny had worked for Phil Spector and his "wall of sound"...which has me wondering about Spector being a type of handler...and molding the images of young singers in the early 60's.
I don't know if it was in this thread, perhaps so, but that "Chaz" may have been used, abused and replaced and it wouldn't be a stretch to have a "replacement" enter the scene after the "transgender" operation.
I do agree about the popular "politicians" types that are being displayed now, getting close to priming the masses for the next presidential election. You see a parade of buffoons trying to make themselves marketable to run against Obama....It gets more ridiculous as it goes...

It started last night when some chick retweeted an obviously fake CNN tweet: “RT @cnn: American recording artist Cher dies at 65 years old. Found dead in Malibu home.”
And then it spread like wildfire from there. It spread so fast that even a few celebrities got duped. Kim Kardashian was tweeting, “Did I juist hear Cher has passed away? Is this real? OMG” and “I hope this is a twitter joke and not true. I don’t see it on the news anywhere. I’m praying its not true…”
I’m not sure why people think this sort of stuff is funny. It’s sad that someone gets a bizarre power trip watching a lie spread. I always wonder who these people are that they have so much free freakin’ time on their hands that they sit around and decide to do something so stupid."
