So, let's repeat ourselves and ask What Year did the original Michael Jackson "leave"? I actually forgot where on this thread we where zeroe-ing in on that. Thanks!

^I would say it was after his 1979 album Off The Wall and before Thriller(1982).

I'm thinking it happened after Thriller, the time he caught on fire during the Pepsi Commercial Filming....
IMO...

Am I being shot for disagreeing??? Hmmm
I don't know where my sister had read it, she was researching this subject herself and someone made the comment that there were two fake Michael's. One that could sing and dance almost as well as the real Michael and the second one not so much talent.
I wished I could have read whatever it was she had, but it does have you think. If that is the case, it would fit your ideas that the "Thriller" could have been the talented "Fichael" and the one that appeared later, like in "Bad" was a not so good replacement.
It would be a curious thing to examine the eyes of the "Wall" and "Thriller" faces. If someone could isolate and compare the eyes only...what would we get from that?

Perhaps someone with better photo-editing skills than myself can enlarge the faces on the Off the Wall photo and the one below - they're both smiling and both looking straight at the camera which should make for a good comparison. I know lighting can play a part but Thriller Jackson looks much lighter in skin tone than Off the Wall Jackson.

Makes me wonder the reason behind the "skin whitening" crap is due to the fact that the different replacements were not even African American but white men? Perhaps not the "Thriller" Fichael, but most definitely BAD or "Black or White" up to the time of "This is It"

Perhaps not the "Thriller" Fichael, but most definitely BAD or "Black or White" up to the time of "This is It" I wonder if "Black or White" is a very sly way of telling the masses that the original black entertainer was replaced with a white person.
