"Doppelganger of Missing Baby Lisa Irwin Found, Family Harassed
The Kansas City Star reports the public has been very cognizant of the search for baby Lisa Irwin, missing since Oct. 4. In the case of one family, the vigilance of ordinary citizens may have gone over the top as a lookalike has been found. A married couple named Amy and David have been questioned by police several times because their daughter Lucy is about the same age as Lisa and bears a striking resemblance to the missing infant.
Here's a look at the strange new twist in the case.
* The couple was interviewed by the Star under the condition that Amy and David's last name not be used. They are married but fear they will be endlessly harassed.
* Amy realized Lucy looked like Lisa when she was in a local supermarket in Overland Park, Kan., a suburb of Kansas City, Mo. Three older women literally surrounded her and asked her invasive questions. They also touched Lucy to see if she had a birthmark on her right leg that resembles Lisa's.
* Five times Amy and David have been questioned by authorities in the case. Every time, the parents have had to produce proof that Lucy is their baby. The couple feels as if everyone is watching them. Shoppers stare at the parents. The police told the Star no other incidents of lookalike babies have surfaced.
* One officer even asked Amy what the circumference of Lucy's head was at the time of her birth.
* Lisa and Lucy look similar in photos. The babies have bright blue eyes and blond hair. Even their ears stick out in the same manner. One subtle difference is in the cheek bones. Lisa's cheeks are chubbier. Lisa also appears to weigh more.
* This new twist could be the rare case of a doppelganger. Merriam-Webster defines the German word as "double" or "alter ego." As babies can often seem similar in appearance, it is startling that one couple is repeatedly asked the same questions about their baby over and over due to the resemblance of a high-profile missing person case.
* Most of the incidents happened in early October when the case was still fresh on people's minds. The fifth incident occurred Nov. 30 when an investigator interviewed the couple at home. No one knew for which department the man worked for until several hours later when a Kansas City police commander called to report the detective hadn't logged the tip in their computer database yet. Interesting, Artemis. Conjures speculation of "black ops" cloning or twins-creations experiments spilling out into the everyday American society with a big hole torn in the mask....

Wow, that is an interesting thing. And how many more of these things are happening, where there are missing "children" and are taken from their homes, yet there are no visible signs of forced entry and the parents are dumbfounded...and the stories suspicious???
I have to question these "abducted from their beds"...and there's no signs of any damage to the home, bedroom windows, etc...hmmmm rotten in Denmark...

"Missing Missouri Student Left Troubling Voicemail for Sister Before Disappearance
A missing 19-year-old Missouri college student last seen on the University of Kansas campus left her sister a troubling voicemail the morning she disappeared.
In the voicemail, Aisha Khan told her sister that while she was studying for finals at an outdoor picnic table, a man who appeared drunk had been harassing her and attempted to kiss her before she hit him and he took off.
"'I slapped him. He just smelled really bad, and I didn't know what to do,'" Khan's sister, Faiza Khan, recalled her sister saying in the voicemail, according to ABC News' Kansas City affiliate KMBC. "She's like, 'You need to pick up your phone. I'm confused.' She was freaked out at that point."
Shortly after, Faiza Khan tried to call her sister back, but her sister did not answer the phone. Faiza Khan rushed to where her sister said she had been studying on the university campus and found Aisha's belongings -- her cell phone, backpack and other items -- but Aisha was nowhere to be found.
"We have no information that it was an abduction and no information that it wasn't," Overland Park Police Chief John Douglass said at a news conference Monday. "We are looking at it as a missing person case and putting the resources into it as if it was an abduction."
Khan was last seen around 11 a.m. on Friday at the University of Kansas Edwards Campus. She is a student at the Johnson County Community College, a partner of the University of Kansas, which would explain her presence on campus.
Police have interviewed family, friends, students, faculty and construction workers who were working nearby. Douglass said the construction workers believe they saw someone that matched Khan's description walking away from the area alone, but police have not yet confirmed if it was Khan.
FBI agents are assisting the Overland Park Police Department in the investigation. Investigators on foot and on horseback have searched the campus, nearby woods, a creek bed, park and a nearby golf course to no avail.
There are no suspects or hard leads in the case. Khan's family is offering a $10,000 reward for information regarding her disappearance.
"We have looked at videotapes of all the intersections," Douglass said. "To date, we have seen absolutely nothing in that area."
Khan was married this year and police have spoken to her husband. The couple was living together in an apartment. Douglass said there was "no reason to believe that he is a suspect."
Khan's disappearance has led to an outpouring of support, including from many members of the Muslim community. Her missing person Facebook page has been flooded with messages to Allah, praying for her safe return.
Supporters have set up a "Help Find Aisha Khan" Facebook page that already has more than 10,000 supporters and a Twitter account, @findaisha, has been set up. Both are frequently updated.
"There's so much we don't know about the case," Douglass said. "She's 19 years old, but not much more than a child. One of our own is missing and we need to find her."

"Missing Kansas Student Aisha Khan Found Alive Aisha Khan, the 19-year-old Kansas college student missing for nearly a week has been found safe and unharmed, according to ABC News' Kansas City affiliate KMBC. Overland Park Police Officer Brian Schnavel said that Khan was not abducted or held against her will, according to KMBC. Schnavel said no criminal act occurred. Police said they made contact with Khan by phone on Wednesday night and that she was no in danger. The police investigation has been closed, but no other details on Khan's whereabouts or what happened were immediately available. Khan was last heard from the morning of Dec. 19 when she left her sister a troubling voicemail, saying that while she was studying for finals at an outdoor picnic table, a drunk man had been harassing her and attempted to kiss her before she hit him and took off. "Oh my gosh he was so scary. My heart is, like, pounding. I've never got this scared in my life," Khan can be heard saying in the message. "Pick up your phones, I am freaked out right now." Her family had feared for the worst, with her mother and husband of five months pleading with her alleged captor to let her go. In a brief press conference late Wednesday night, a Khan's family spokesperson thanked their community for their outpouring of support. But no family members would speak to reporters. Police, who just days ago told ABC News that they were treating the case as an abduction, had no comment on Khan's reappearance. Her cell phone, backpack and other items were at the University of Kansas picnic table where she had been sitting, but she was nowhere to be found. She is a student at the Johnson County Community College, which partners with the University of Kansas, which is why Khan was on the campus. Police launched a massive search and investigation, and Khan's husband, parents and siblings pleaded for her safe return. " Still the story is weird...

"Police offer reward for lead in missing Maine toddler case
(Reuters) - Authorities in Maine believe a toddler who vanished a week before Christmas was abducted from her home by a still-unidentified person and are offering a $30,000 reward for information leading to the young girl's location.
The reward, put up by private citizens and linked to 20-month-old Ayla Reynolds' disappearance from her father's Waterville home, is the state's largest ever in a missing persons case, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland told Reuters on Tuesday.
Authorities are checking new leads in the case that has come under a national spotlight after a TV segment about it aired on the Fox network's "America's Most Wanted" program over the weekend, Waterville police said.
Officials say the girl was last seen December 16 when her father, Justin DiPietro, who had custody of Ayla, put her to bed in her room.
DiPietro reported Ayla as missing from the house early the next morning, and hundreds of police officers, game wardens and local residents have been searching the area for her since.
Sporadic snowfall in Waterville, located 20 miles north of the capital Augusta, has hampered the large-scale search at times, police said.
Waterville Police Chief Joseph Massey said at a press conference Monday that officials don't believe the girl left home by herself, but police haven't disclosed whether they suspect a stranger, a family friend or a relative took her away.
The statement marked the first time in the 10-day-old case that investigators said someone took her out of the house.
"I don't want to speculate beyond that, because we do not know who took Ayla out of that house and under what circumstances she was removed," Massey said.
Typically, he said, the longer a missing person investigation continues, the more concerned officials become for the safety of the individual, particularly children.
Deputy Chief Charles Rumsey said in a phone interview on Tuesday that police are steadily receiving new leads and investigators and searchers are continuing their work, but he could not say whether officials viewed any leads in the case as promising.
Authorities say they have interviewed numerous family members in Waterville and outside the area. DiPietro said Ayla, who is 2 feet and 9 inches tall and weighs 30 pounds, was wearing polka-dot pajamas with the phrase "Daddy's Princess" on them, and she had a cast on her left arm, broken in a recent fall.
The toddler had been living with her father after her mother, Trista Reynolds, checked herself into a 10-day rehabilitation program, police said.
Following rehab, Reynolds, on the day before Ayla was last seen, had filed papers seeking sole custody of the girl.
"I am very hopeful that the offer of a large monetary reward may serve to spur someone to make the phone call we desperately want to receive -- the call that will lead us to Ayla Reynolds," Massey said."

I find a strange pattern happening in the baby or child that has been taken from their own home. How can some child be taken from their own home and someone doesn't realize it??? How is it that there is no sign of forced entry?
I see red flags also when there are stories of estranged couples, whether married, or just sharing children and are no longer together and children end up missing.....
I suspect many of these "abductions" are most likely used as sacrifices in some sort of sick ritual. When there are no traces of the child to be found....

I believe that, among others. And dont forget that in many cases parents are involved too. Just think of Maddie McCann's case.

I saw a movie recently -- "The Forgotten" (2004)
Children are being abducted and their parents are being made to forget (via mind control) that they ever had children so they won't miss them.
The movie provides a sci-fi explanation for why this is happening -- aliens are doing it (of course!).
Meanwhile a group of saintly NSA agents are trying their darndest to "minimize the damage" while keeping it all a secret so as not to upset anyone.
I guess they're hoping the public will accept this as the reason for all the missing kids in the world.
Anyway, forum members might enjoy it. It has some amusing moments (in a dark sort of way).

"Police hold 'person of interest' after severed head, hands and feet are found near Brad and Angelina's Hollywood Hills mansion
Investigation launched after headless body discovered on dirt road west of the Tucson Mountains on January 6 News comes days after head in bag found by couple out walking nine dogs in Los Angeles Police conducting DNA tests to determine if deaths are related
Police are questioning a person of interest in connection with the discovery of a human head, two feet and and hands near Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Hollywood Hills mansion.
Investigators raided a Los Angeles apartment building last night near to where the human remains were found, KFI-AM reported.
The raid followed the gruesome discoveries that have shocked Los Angeles. The head was found on Tuesday in the 3200 block of Canyon Drive, by two people walking dogs, and then late on Wednesday night, the other hand and two feet were discovered near the city's iconic Hollywood sign.
Yesterday Arizona police launched a joint investigation with the LAPD to determine whether body parts found near the Hollywood sign are connected to a dismembered body discovered 500 miles away.
A headless body was found on the side of a dirt road west of the Tucson Mountains on January 6, according to the Pima County sheriff's office.
The department asked Los Angeles to 'expedite a DNA comparison as soon as possible.'
According the the Arizona Daily Star, the dismembered body is that of a male, found by two men cutting grass to feed their animals.
Pima County sheriff's Bureau Chief Rick Kastigar told the newspaper the man's head, hands and feet were missing.
However police now believe that the two events may not be connected.
The events have unfolded like a gory movie script, and police are now trying to identity the man.
Today more than 100 police officers, some on horseback, were searching a Hollywood wilderness park along a winding hiking trail to see if they can find yet more body parts.
Authorities said the head came from a man believed to be 40 to 60 years old. Police think all the body parts are from the same man but are trying to confirm that.
A couple walking nine dogs found the severed human head inside a plastic bag on Tuesday afternoon after two of the dogs began toying with an object.
'One of the dogs ran into the brush and came out carrying a plastic grocery bag. As the dogs shook the plastic grocery bag the severed human head fell out of the bag and onto the ground,' Cmdr. Andrew Smith told KCBS-TV.
The first hand was found as dozens of officers and homicide investigators combed the brush, and a coroner's cadaver dog came upon it about 50 yards from where the head was discovered on Tuesday afternoon, the Los Angeles Times reported. The second hand and both feet were found nearby later Wednesday afternoon. No details were immediately available on the condition of the body parts.
The man might have been killed elsewhere in recent days and his body dumped in the park, Cmdr Smith said.
Wild animals in the park may have other body parts, he said.
Police were looking at reports of missing persons, and coroner's investigators were to check dental records to try and determine his identity.
Smith noted that the area is well traveled by both cars and hikers. A paved road winds around picnic areas and a children's playground before connecting with a trail that eventually winds up near the Hollywood sign.
The Hollywood sign on Mount Lee above Los Angeles originally read 'Hollywoodland' and was created to promote a housing development in 1923.
The last few letters deteriorated in the late 1940s and the part that remained was restored in 1978."

But who knows if this is his real identity?
"Victim identified in Hollywood human head mystery
Los Angeles police have identified the victim whose severed head and other parts were found near the world-famous Hollywood sign, the LA coroner's office said on Friday.
As police claimed progress in the hunt for his killer, the dead man was named as 66-year-old Hervey Medellin, who was a former employee of Mexicana Airlines, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Detectives have searched an apartment block near to Sunset Boulevard linked to the victim, it reported, but no arrests have so far been made over the gruesome find on a hiking trail leading up to the Hollywood sign.
"Detectives are continuing to make investigative progress on the case, and will release more details and developments when they can," said Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) spokesman Richard French.
Two female dogwalkers made the initial discovery Tuesday after noticing one of their dogs playing with an object, which on closer inspection turned out to be the human head, in a bag.
The LAPD closed the park entrance near where the head was found in Bronson Canyon, and subsequently found the hands and feet in an operation involving up to 100 police and park rangers.
Police believe the victim had only been dead for a few days at most. The human remains were found in Bronson Canyon, long used as a location for movie and TV productions, not far from what are known locally as the Bat Caves, where the TV Batman series was filmed.
A bodyguard of Hollywood star Brad Pitt was among local residents interviewed about the grisly find, but only because the security man lives close to the bottom of the hiking trail."

Strange case of the Hollywood "head"....and so close to Frad Fitt's place....
Why do I suspect something that the victim isn't really who they claim it to be? We don't know who they found...they could be telling us some fake identity....
And who knows, maybe it's someone who has some suspicious info about Fangelina and Frad and someone wanted him silenced.....of course, that's my crazy brain at work....
Sounds like a strange ritualistic type of thing done if you ask me...but who's asking? (LOL)

"Police seek suspect in Huckabee relative's death
ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (AP) — Authorities in Arkansas were searching Sunday for a suspect wanted in a homicide and kidnapping case involving a distant relative of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.
Police issued an arrest warrant for Donald Hux after investigators found the body of Sandy Carl Huckabee at his home in Arkadelphia, which is about 70 miles southwest of Little Rock.
Former Huckabee spokesman Jim Harris said Sandy Huckabee's father was the first cousin of former presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee's father.
Authorities said Hux abducted his ex-wife, Amy Huckabee, and their three children in Arkadelphia before he drove to El Dorado, which is about 80 miles away. He dropped the children off somewhere in southern Arkansas' Union County, which is where El Dorado is located, the local sheriff's office said in a statement. Union County Sheriff's Capt. Clark Burton told The Associated Press the children were not hurt.
Meanwhile, police in Arkadelphia learned about the situation and went to the Huckabee home to do a welfare check. They found Sandy Huckabee's body inside, but they had yet to find his wife, Amy Huckabee, as of Sunday evening.
Hux is wanted on capital murder, kidnapping, burglary and firearms charges.
He was last seen driving a tan 2005 Chevrolet extended cab truck with the license plate 487-MDZ.
No one answered the phone at one number listed for Donald Hux in El Dorado. Another number for Donald Hux there was disconnected.
Harris, the spokesman when Huckabee was governor, said the former Republican governor was traveling Sunday but had learned of the distant relative's death."
