Perhaps the child pics are the REAL Elvis Aaron Presley and the famous Elvis pics are of the double? ...much like the case with John Lennon(see John Lennon post).

Even I repeat myself but thats ok: methinks the real ELVIS was himself until he joined the army. After that all changed.

Makes me wonder if the real Elvis' twin did not really "die" as the story supposedly was told.
Also makes me wonder why Elvis was so famous...look at his face....you've seen that face in other places...in other times in history....
I know this may sound like a crackpot thinking, but look at the face and features of the Statue of Liberty and look at Elvis' face and features.....Talk about molding a "man"....The system may have found a couple who were willing to allow their offspring to be "guinea pigs", or perhaps they were of a chosen people...to bear the image of their god....
Some other place in this forum, someone posted a coin or image of a Roman icon and it looked like Elvis.
Maybe I'm crazy, but there are similiarities...and this is by chance?

NOT I thought this too, Lucy. There is something about his face.. but it begs the question who were his parents really? What was his bloodline, really? Why were they poor if they were so special? Elvis was not who he appeared to be, that is clear. |

Count the ELVISES... Hint to his future replacement...  Really needed for his name to be written 2wice? Hmmm.... Double Elvis anyone?  Interesting fact that Elvis had also German blood, through his father, whose original name was PRESSLER - wiki doesnt mention that. Still arguable if his father's family was fully German or German Gipsy as some sources say. That explains (maybe) his stint as a soldier in Germany (programming and replacement included), also the fact that his father came to live together with Elvis in BAD NEUHEIM where coincidentally or not, found his 2nd wife while his son found his first... Or VERNON needed a "handler" too? And what did Elvis say at the time of his joining the army? "The Army can do anything it wants with me."So it happened... |

"Numerous books about Elvis Presley were published in the last decades. But they include hardly any reports about his private, secret life. Just now old documents from a diary were found about the time Elvis Presley spent as a GI in Germany, between 1958 and the summer of 1959. "Presley made a friendship with a journalist during an interview in the army barracks", said the author Joe F. Bodenstein. He is examining the materials to decide whether to publish them or not.
The friendship with the 22-year old German lasted until 1958. The relations cooled down when Elvis met the 14-year old Priscilla Beaulieu. She was ten years younger than him. They got married on May 1, 1967. On February 1, 1968 Elvis and Priscilla's baby Lisa Marie was born.
Elvis Presley and his friend spent their free time mostly in the German forest Spessart. Presley arrived in Germany on October 1st at the harbour of Bremerhaven. As a GI he was posted for one and half years in the town of Friedberg, but lived in Bad Nauheim. For Presley, it was easy to reach the Spessart Forest, without raising public attention. It is reported that Elvis was very much liked by his comrades in the Army, since the King of Rock did not ask for any special treatment. In his free, time Elvis and his hidden friend used to stroll in the forest and stayed overnight in this area, known for its fairy tales and legends.
What else had happened with Elvis in the German forest? "Definitely not, what a common man would expect", says Bodenstein. A novel on this "Summertime with Elvis Presley" would be very interesting, in order to show new aspects of this great musician. "We know many things about the secret lives of Rock Hudson, Elton John, Marlene Dietrich, Madonna, the writer Thomas Mann and many other international personalities and Hollywood actors", says Bodenstein. To discover a new side of Elvis Presley would not decrease his glory."

I think some intensive cloning procedures took place while "Elvis" was in Germany....indeed, why does it all seem to go back to Germany? Hmmm. |

I agree, because I think there was a fake Elvis before he went into the "service".
I've heard really old recordings of Elvis that was before he went to Germany, and certainly didn't sound like the recordings made during the string of hideous movies he made in the early to mid 60's.
IMO the interim Felvis of those bad movies was switched out and by the time of the 1968 "comeback" in black leather in Las Vegas...was the new and improve Felvis...but this hunka hunka burning love didn't last too long. They brought in the fat bedazzled jumpsuit Felvis....
Don't know if I stated this earlier, but it's been so long since I've examined this career, that I do believe there were several fakes after "Germany".
