Good pics artemis. I don't know, I see about 3 or 4 doubles in there. And I don't see the original anywhere.

I wanted to chime in about the naysayers on the whole clone/replacement thing. There's a lot of great work done here with photo analysis but as The Mask explained - there are also other discernment skills that different people have that are hard to explain. I've been a celeb watcher for a long, long time. I'm also very sensitive to energy and the thing that resonates on this blog for me is that there are significant changes to the the famous/infamous over the years that just get glossed over in the MSM or chalked up to plastic surgery. Re Jewel in particular, I watched some ridiculous "christmas with the celebs" special last year tasteofcountry.com/event/jewels-holiday-home-airs-on-gac/ and I was speechless at the persona they claimed was Jewel. She was classically "stepforded" - seriously, she could have been a wind up doll. She was nothing like the creative, old soul-ful person she seemed to be when she debuted. There was major behind the scenes drama around her being "discovered" by Sean Penn and his deciding between her and his then wife Robin Wright. It was after her Sean Penn days that she was never quite the same as far as I'm concerned. That was in 1995-96 www.sexdegrees.net/relationships/sean-penn-jewel/

Well I don't need glasses to see the difference in the cheeks and the chin. The question is, would someone's chin grow like that naturally? It actually looks like her chin got narrower, which we all know is impossible.

All I know is, that's a lot of J/fewels!
I remember completely losing interest in her after liking her first album - I think subconsciously it was already registering with me that she wasn't herself anymore. Or what I THOUGHT was the original, anyway.
One thing that always puzzled me is her "back story" about living in a truck and going from place to place when she was younger, homeless. It seemed like a very convenient "story arc" , the usual rags to riches crap biography, when Mask has shown us that quite frequently these stars are replaced long BEFORE they even get famous. Plus, you don't just get a record deal after living that kind of life - no way she'd be able to make the necessary connections unless her family was already connected in some way or she slept with somebody powerful.
So I guess I wonder based on that just WHEN she was replaced and also I wonder how fake that famous back story about her is.
Either way, I really liked her first album and that Jewel seemed to have a funky spark and originality to her that none of the other Fewels have had.

Believe me I also noticed the difference and IMO that 1997 comparison pic is that of a temporary replacement (for special events lets say).

Id say the one from 1996. And ull probably say that I should put some glasses on myself... Maybe she had some lid surgery, maybe they just used her talent and theres smb else (replacement/clone) in her vids, even those early ones. Either way, I like her the way she was, a truly talented artist. The Sean Penn story is very intriguing...

Or what I THOUGHT was the original, anyway. I originally thought she was replaced in 2003, which I think she was, in addition to other times. You're right about either having connections or having to sleep with someone to get to the top. Well no wonder these people are being cloned so early on, it's easier to get a programmed clone to go along with something like that than a real person. That's why they are merely borrowing the identity of the person. And in addition they can sell the rags to riches story to program the population, which is probably phony as you have eluded to. Yes, I agree. Her early stuff was quite good and I don't usually like this kind of music. There was a hit called You Were Meant For Me (I think that's the name) that was huge and played on the radio constantly for well over a year.

Oh, I liked those other songs, too!
You know - clones and/or replacements could often be quite talented in their OWN way. I believe that creativity is something that can strike anybody - especially if they have some training, say with playing musical instruments or singing.
Also, from my experience, there are SO many starving/struggling artists of all kinds out there who would literally KILL to replace a big celebrity -- and I'm sure some of them are being hired to be replacements, with a little plastic surgery or whatever, and that they are often quite talented and producing their own stuff, too.
One person I have mixed feelings about these days is Sting/Fing. I never liked the early Sting of the Police era - I always resonated more with the later Fing who wrote more soulful stuff, experimented with full jazz instrumentation and vocals, and also had some quite interesting lyric/poetry in his music. The early Sting to me was very "angry young Brit" and off putting, while the later Sting/Fing seemed to have a certain wistfulness, some real "soul" that shows through in some of his songs, a sense of quirky humor that shows in some of his stuff, and much more sophisticated songwriting/instrumentation skills than the early Sting who basically relied upon his Police bandmates to do all the heavy musical lifting.
But....I know that the guy currently promoted as "Sting" is a replacement and/or clone.
SO -- that one messes with my head, but I am still able to enjoy the new Fing's music.
His scary "wife" is a total handler type, though. So she's icky.
